Shannon was anxious. Not in a bad way, but the anticipatory way that everyone got when something new and exciting was going up and there was no way it could go badly, but predicting the end outcome was almost impossible. It was a great feeling, but one that left Shannon feeling like a teen heading out to prom instead of a grown man getting ready to have fun with his boyfriend and potentially make some hilariously heartfelt gestures to express his trust in Eli. That was probably something he didn't do enough in general, actually.

Breakfast had been something simple. Pancakes, fresh cut fruit and sausage. Eli had come over pretty early to get ready, talking over the generalities of what they were going to do while the specifics were to wait for after they were done. Well, now they were done and sitting on the couch, and Shannon's leg was jiggling even under the hand he had placed on his knee to keep himself still. Lacey had wandered off after breakfast, stomach filled with her own food and presumably was napping on the foot of the bed in Shannon's room. Probably for the better, really.

"So," he said, ignoring the obvious tell he was giving off. If Eli took it for misapprehension, then Shannon was going to definitely lean over and smack him. "Where do we start?"

Shannon's reaction to the collar being put back on made Eli grin and reach out to grab the ring so that he could tug and move the collar around for Shannon and make him respond even more to it. While doing that, Eli's other hand grabbed Shannon's hand so that he could lean over and kiss his palm before moving down and kissing his wrist, continuing down his arm like that until he reached the bend in his arm.

"How does that feel, Shannon? Do you like it?" He knows the answer to that already, but he likes to hear Shannon say it. Eli does love any excuse to make Shannon talk or make noises that replace it when he becomes lost in the feeling of the scene.

He moaned at the guidance of the collar, trying to both follow the motions while press in opposite directions for the different feelings that inspired. His arm shook, even the gentle kisses igniting a reaction; his body squirmed as if to share in the rest of the sensation. His moan turned into another noise, more strained while attempting to be something coherent at the same time.

He wanted to share his thoughts, wanted to spare some attention to make the answer fit. How was he supposed to put it all into words? "Yes. It's so... it's... incredible."

If what he did caused that much of a response, what he was going to do next was going to make him lose it completely. Holding his hand firmly, he let out a flow of electricity through his hand and from his lips as he slowly kissed back up his arm. He wanted to end this scene with something for Shannon to think about for a long while yet and this was the best way he could do so.

"How about now?" There was a teasing tone in his voice, like he was fully aware of what he was doing and to be fair, he knew exactly what he was doing along with knowing whether or not he expected a coherent sentence out of him as an answer.

His reaction was not insignificant. He let out a loud groan, a purely instinctive and positive tone while his head tipped back into the bed beneath him. The rest of him writhed and in slow fervor as if trying to display the answer rather than speak it aloud. It was going to drive him out of his mind, the simple touch amplified to one hundred and then set off by the sparks of Eli's power.

To be fair, he really did give it a try at answering. His moans were almost formed, words hanging off the edge of a grunt that never quite made its destination. It was like a wildfire being set off by a careless piece of ash floating on the wind, something small working its way up into such a powerful torrent flowing through him. It wasn't pain, but pure attention and tactile feedback did wonders in the softened state Shannon had found himself in.

That was what he was looking for as a reaction and he hummed softly against his arm, just adding more to what he was already doing to Shannon. The sensitivity would go away soon enough and Eli wanted to take full advantage of it before it was gone. Plus, he did enjoy seeing Shannon like this.

"This is good, isn't it?" He spoke to himself more than Shannon, knowing he couldn't respond in any real way that could be considered a conversation. "We'll do this again, I promise."

The order in which they had gone at starting their scene had helped, but most of it was simply that Shannon was a very sensitive person. When he was in a state where everything was out in the open and freely given, it came to the forefront spectacularly and only served to showcase how much he truly trusted Eli in order to give this to him.

He merely hummed back, pleased by the tone, and nodded halfway from where he was. He could only hope it would be soon as this amplification of his senses was something amazing. Maybe they would use the gloves again, too...

Winding him up before starting to bring him down probably wasn't the best idea he had, but he's always liked ending on a high note and that's exactly how things were going to happen this time. Pulling away from his arm, he started to undo the harness so he can take it off.

"Don't complain," he said before he can even protest. "It has to end eventually and I'm saying we're stopping now."

"What?" Muzzily, he lifted his head as if to watch what was being done. His hands reached to wrap around Eli's forearms, not to stop him but simple to be there and observe. His sensitive hand held tighter than the other, trying to press more sensation there where he could. He wiggled under the removal of the harness, not trying to help in getting it off because then that meant they were done. "Already?"

"I put you through a lot already, remember? I don't want to push you too far in one go," Eli responded while he paused to tap Shannon's sensitive hand. He knew how subs could be once they got to the end and was prepared to make sure Shannon just complained and didn't actively try to stop him. "When we're done, we can curl up together and you can rest."

Hand flexing, but not letting go, he began to settle down with a rather petulant air about him. It had been so good, every single part of it, that he didn't want it to just up and end. But Eli was right, too, and there was probably some sort of merit to saving more for later. He certainly couldn't say no to simply being together with him without any complicated fluff in the way, either.

"There's more in the bag," he tried. They hadn't played with all of the toys they'd gotten that day.

"That we will get to later. Now's the time to calm down and relax, okay?" He's still taking off the harness, wanting to get him out of it so it can signal that this is truly over for Shannon. With the way he is now, it'd be good to confirm it where words aren't. "And we need to clean you up. There's still some wax on you and I don't want you having to deal with that later."

"Do I have to move for that?" After all of their play, the idea of getting up and walking around right now was not one that he wanted to indulge in. If Eli said it was necessary, he would do it, but wouldn't it be simpler to wait until after? He shifted his hips a bit to help with the removal of the harness, hands still around Eli's forearms to use them as leverage.

"No, you'll be staying right where you are. That's what this is for and why I brought you to this bed. I'll grab a washcloth and some water once I've gotten you settled down a bit more," he said as he pulled the harness down his hips and to his legs, where he pulled it off his body easily and put it aside so it wouldn't get in the way. That done, he positioned himself and Shannon so that they were sitting next to each other and then pulled Shannon close into a hug, stroking his sensitive arm as he did. "So, tell me what you thought, Shannon. What you liked, what you didn't, what you want me to do differently next time."

Whatever position they ended up in was fine with Shannon, so long as they were there together. He was definitely still clingy and attached to the one taking care of him and it was better if they weren't separated. He placed his head against Eli's shoulder, and hemmed and hawed a bit while he slowly considered that. The light attention to his arm was enough to distract and focus him at the same time.

"Whip was nice," he said after some thought. "Gloves were even better. Kind of. Same but better. You do it better than I do. Can you get the wax hotter next time?"

"I'll see about making the wax boiling hot next time," Eli replied after some amount of consideration. It was good to hear that Shannon liked what they did and he filed that away for later scenes to reincorporate them into it. Especially the gloves and wax, with how much Shannon enjoyed those above everything else. "And if you're good, the next time I use the wax, I'll use the gloves on your skin. How about that?"

While he was talking, he was removing bits of wax from his stomach where he had started their wax session off, pulling the pieces of wax off and dropping them onto the side table to be melted down later for reuse. He'd had to clean up a little bit after he got Shannon settled in, but he liked cleaning and when Shannon inevitably fell asleep, Eli would go out and see how Trigger and Lacey were doing together.

From there, it was easy to calm down and for Shannon to drift out of subspace while Eli helped him along. No danger of subdrop, and no overly painful soreness to deal with once the overwhelming feeling of goodness had worn away. It was a good, though somewhat unexpected, session and was probably their most successful yet.

It wasn't long from there that another opportunity came up. When they got into contact with Michelle about a possible session with the three of them, the party at the Chrysalis came up; it was Michelle's idea that they all go there together, as a test of Shannon's training and just to show off what a catch Eli had managed to land. With assurances of two people there to help keep Shannon out of trouble over just the one, it wasn't really a question. Now two weeks later, they arrived at the club dressed up high with their leathers and the like, Shannon already in his collar and having hesitantly consented to the leash more as a sign for others to keep away than to really drag him around on.

Most of all, he had a blindfold on this time. It was Eli's idea and one Shannon had approved of right away: making the other partygoers believe that Cross's new sub was merely so well-trained that he could go to a party blindfolded and have minimal issues. It gave Shannon a semblance of power, no matter that he was the sub in this situation. "How many people are in here?" he asked once they were inside. His hand was on Eli's elbow for guidance (guide dog or not, Lacey wouldn't have been very welcome here) while Michelle kept a hold of the leash. He wasn't worried about getting lost, but rather simply gauging the crowd.

Even though they just arrived, Eli was already getting recognized and word of Cross' arrival was weaving through the people milling about. Nobody had come forward yet, instead checking out what had to be his sub blindfolded and the female accomplice he had brought with. Eli himself was ignoring outside of Shannon and Michelle beyond a cursory glance at the club. Thanks to his power, it was hard for him to tell a specific number since they all grouped together in his sight and couldn't pick them apart well enough to be sure.

"Quite a lot of people so far," Eli answered with joy in his voice. It has been so long since he had been to a party that he was excited to be back and able to share it with Shannon. On the other side of Shannon, Michelle seemed amused by the boys with her.

"Close to a hundred, I am sure. The club is a decent size and it is not just a play party that is going on tonight. There will be dancing and drinks for those not interested in the play portion of it." Michelle was glad to be here as well, though for different reasons than Eli. She liked a good party and to be able to play with Shannon was just an added bonus.

Shannon's hearing was still working well despite the noise of the general chatter drowning out most of the conversation. He could definitely pick out the word Cross every now and then and couldn't help but send a smirk in Eli's direction when he did. It was obvious Eli was already enjoying himself, so hopefully his status being recognized would only further his mood for the night. He gave a light squeeze to Eli's elbow before turning to Michelle instead.

"Play parties usually get smaller turnouts?" It was all Greek to him, so to hear it from Eli or Michelle was to hear it from an expert. Far be it from Shannon to assume he knew anything and make a fool of himself right off the bat. "Sounds like tonight will be... distracting."

"Usually they do. Play parties tend to be smaller so that there's less of a chance of somebody slipping through the cracks and breaking the rules," explained Michelle. Her role tonight was that of a teacher to Shannon and she'd do everything in her power to explain while Eli ran interference between the other partygoers and his newcomer sub.

With a tilt of her head, she listened to the crowd around them and moved the leash slightly to make the chain jingle. "Ah, do you hear that? Our dear kotik is a very popular one. You'll be getting attention for being his sub, especially with that blindfold on."

Because that was so very reassuring. "And tonight? They just decided to mix them all together?"

His spare hand reached up to still the chain, fingers resting there lightly as he took in the rest of the noise himself. Shannon huffed and straightened out at the idea of so much scrutiny. Probably not the best reaction for a sub, but it was Shannon's own reaction to facing an unknown. "Yeah, I figured that was the point of the blindfold. Divert some of the attention from Cross's big return."

There was a shrug from Michelle and a soft hmph as an initial response. To worry when they were around was silly and she was going to make sure Shannon was well aware of that. "Newer clubs want many people here spending their money. You do not need to worry about anyone bothering you. We are Aspects and will make sure nothing happens tonight except for what you want to happen."

A soft laugh came from Eli and he leaned over slightly so that he could talk without people nearby hearing him. "Oh no, the blindfold's just to make everyone feel stupid when it's later revealed that you're blind. I don't mind the attention if it keeps you comfortable while we're here."

Sometimes, it was easy to forget that Shannon hung out with a bunch of superpowered reincarnations of dragons and otherwise. That probably had to do with his own lack of power and/or control of his fiery element, but when Michelle put it that way... yeah, it was pretty silly to worry. "Keep saying that and people might think I'm the one in charge here."

Shannon leaned toward Eli in response to the movement, just enjoying the closeness as well as the joke. It was the exact opposite of his glasses ploy, but somehow with the same effect overall while still coming out rather impressively in Shannon's favor. "You'll have to tell me what their faces look like when they figure it out," he said.

"If you were in charge, sobachka, then it would be kotik wearing the leash. But we also know that all you want coincides with what your Dom wants in the end," Michelle stated with amusement. If Shannon was going to be like this, then keeping him in line was going to take some work. That was half the fun with Shannon though, so it was more something for her to look forward to than something she didn't want to end up doing.

The closeness was good for both of them because Eli hummed softly and used his hand to rest on Shannon's holding his elbow. "Oh you know I wouldn't keep you in the dark about something like that. I thought I was a better boyfriend than that."

To be honest, Shannon figured that if they were going to be out in public then he wasn't going to be the easiest sub to work with. There wasn't much point to resisting or being stubborn in private, but it seemed more fun to make them work for it when they had something to prove to the people around them. That, and it certainly helped mask his nervousness about being brought down into subspace in front of so many strangers with prying eyes. He probably couldn't make it easy even if he wanted to. "It wouldn't work so well if we didn't have the same goals," Shannon said with a shrug.

His fingers shifted, knuckles brushing at Eli's palm overlapping them. He liked this part of it, being able to stay close without needing an excuse. He was just Eli's tonight, Eli and Michelle's really, but mostly belonging to his boyfriend. "I'm always kept in the dark," he said, shit-eating grin in place. "You, however, don't often fail to let me in on the joke, it's true."

"That will be tested tonight," Michelle said almost ominously. Eli and Michelle had talked recently about what Shannon liked and disliked so that she had a baseline to work from tonight. Her style would be difficult for Shannon to handle at first, but she knew that he'd enjoy it once she wore his defenses down enough.

Eli couldn't help but sigh at Shannon's comment. "Always taking me so literally," he said as he squeezed his hand. "Try to behave tonight for me please. When we get home, I'll pull out the gloves for you."
