Shannon was anxious. Not in a bad way, but the anticipatory way that everyone got when something new and exciting was going up and there was no way it could go badly, but predicting the end outcome was almost impossible. It was a great feeling, but one that left Shannon feeling like a teen heading out to prom instead of a grown man getting ready to have fun with his boyfriend and potentially make some hilariously heartfelt gestures to express his trust in Eli. That was probably something he didn't do enough in general, actually.

Breakfast had been something simple. Pancakes, fresh cut fruit and sausage. Eli had come over pretty early to get ready, talking over the generalities of what they were going to do while the specifics were to wait for after they were done. Well, now they were done and sitting on the couch, and Shannon's leg was jiggling even under the hand he had placed on his knee to keep himself still. Lacey had wandered off after breakfast, stomach filled with her own food and presumably was napping on the foot of the bed in Shannon's room. Probably for the better, really.

"So," he said, ignoring the obvious tell he was giving off. If Eli took it for misapprehension, then Shannon was going to definitely lean over and smack him. "Where do we start?"

Putting the collar back down on the harness, Eli knelt onto the bed beside him before moving behind him and placing his hands on Shannon's shoulders before starting to massage them firmly to loosen any tension he could find there.

"Just us," confirmed Eli as he didn't make any move to continue undressing him just yet. He wanted to lull him into subspace to make things easier and to keep him calm while he did so.

Shannon followed the motion, head tilting to let Eli know what he was doing. Most of his extraneous movements were really more of an alert to the people around him rather than because it made his senses that much more useful; it was, as many of his physical movements and expressions were, a habit formed of dealing with people as often as Shannon did. When Eli simply came up behind him and started to work at his shoulders, he was confused.

For someone as alert and conscientious as Shannon was of the world around him, there was a lot of tension in his muscles. He wasn't exactly raring up for a fight or anything like that, but he simply needed to be at the top of his game all the time. Massages weren't really their thing despite that, and he tried to let go of some of his built-up walls to let Eli work. "Mm. Shouldn't I be the one doing the massaging?" he asked, amused even though he didn't quite get where Eli was going with this.

Feeling the tension in his back, Eli started moving his hands to work the tightness out of his shoulder muscles, taking his time to work on them. He wasn't going to move on until he was sure that he had loosened them up enough to ease the tension in his body in some way.

"Maybe later," he said with some amusement in his voice, imagining Shannon giving him a massage. It was definitely something to do later, but not something he wanted to do during a scene because there was a high chance Eli would turn into a pile of goo under his hands.

There was a sound between a hiss and a moan when Eli ran across a particularly knotted area between his spine and right shoulder blade. His head dipped back while the massage worked its way from a bit painful into nice and warm attention spreading across his muscles.

After a moment of letting himself be distracted by the massage, Shannon hummed. "Weren't we doing something?" he asked rhetorically. His curiosity was coming out to play again; this wasn't anywhere in their routine of dressing and undressing,

That was definitely a sound he was looking for and kept at it, wanting to elicit more responses from Shannon and his body while he worked on his back, trying to remove all the tension from it. While he did that, he leaned down and kissed the base of his neck gently, trying to keep him focused on what he was doing instead of what he wasn't.

"Not enjoying this?" His voice was low and soothing, not really minding the curiosity peeking out once more. Eli could handle it and pull him away from poking his nose around. "I could stop if you want me to."

What faint hissing there was in the sound faded into a low rumble. His breathing was beginning to even out in the calm pace of the steady hands working at his back and shoulders. It was easy to get lost in the feeling while his body was pulled away from its alert state and somewhere safe; his mind was quickly trailing afterward.

"Please don't," he said. He was interrupted by a small groan while Eli's hands found another spot. "Stop. Don't stop."

Shannon's noises were getting to him and he sighed quietly as he worked on his back, hands moving down as he followed the tension along his spine. This wasn't the best position to be doing a full massage, but he could deal with it for now until he wanted to pull out all the stops.

"I won't stop," he murmured gently against his skin, kissing his neck once again. He loved being with Shannon like this, not yet in their defined roles of the scene, but also not in their more nebulous usual roles. "Not until I finish what I've started."

It was a moment frozen in time, just the two of them sharing their experience; one acting, the other reacting. Shannon continued to make noises in reaction to whatever knots or tense muscles Eli found and worked through them. The awkwardness of their positioning did nothing to deter his appreciation for the hands wandering his back. The contrast of it all almost made it even more effective, it stood out against the rest of his body.

"Finish?" His shoulders stretched, arching in toward the lips against his neck and the warmth of Eli's breath. Whatever Eli meant about finishing, he trusted it wouldn't be too premature for either of them.

"Nothing for you to worry about any time soon," Eli responded, whispering the words against his skin loud enough for Shannon to hear. He was very skilled with his hands, pinpointing the spots of tension in Shannon's back with ease and teasing them loose with precise movements. Every noise he made only made Eli keep working until he could find no more knots of tension in his back and forced him to move elsewhere.

Moving his arms to wrap around his torso, Eli reached up to his chest and started to attack tight muscles located there, knowing that if his back was that tense, his chest would be too. "How does that feel? Is that making you feel better?"

When the hands shifted around to work on the bundled-up tension in the front of him, Shannon grunted and held back a moan. He leaned into the presence behind him, movements slow and languid as the looseness of his back was almost spreading to the rest of him by sheer force of comfort.

"Of course," he said, easy and simple. Of course it was making him feel better. How could these hands do anything to make something worse? They were Eli's hands, the hands of someone who loved him and wouldn't try to damage him. "It feels like I can breathe."

Once Shannon started to lean back, Eli adjusted the both of them so that they were comfortable in their position while he worked on removing the tension in his chest. Seeing him relax like this was definitely making him glad that he decided to do this on a whim.

"I'm glad to hear it. I'll have to do this for you again in the future," he said as he kissed his neck. Eli couldn't help but enjoy the close proximity to Shannon and the heat that radiated off him and heated up the leather he wore. He wished that he could be pressed up against him naked, but Shannon wasn't ready for that. Speaking of naked, Eli finally focused back on the task of undressing Shannon that he was originally doing. "Take your pants off for me without moving from this spot. I'm not done with this quite yet."

That was a difficult task considering how much he simply wanted to stay there and let the rest of his worries ooze away. His hands reluctantly began to move, and he worked at the button and zip of his jeans before wriggling in place to try and slip them down his hips without rolling out of the hold or otherwise moving too much.

"Like this?" It was a bit slipshod and silly, but it got the job done without dislodging him or interrupting the massage too much. That was the part that mattered right now. Staying like this until they were ready to move on.

He couldn't help but smile at Shannon's method and kissed him once more. "Yes, like that. I want to give you a proper massage, but I can't with your clothes being in the way," he explained, his hands never stopping their work on Shannon's chest muscles, attacking each and every spot of tension and rubbing them loose.

"We'll have to move for that, but I don't want to do that until I'm done with this part of you." At that, he stopped massaging with one hand to pat his chest affectionately. Eli wanted the excuse to be this close to him for as long as possible without the harness on and having to deal with Shannon's learning to become comfortable with it. "How does that sound to you?"

Shannon hummed in response to the kiss, breaths coming in slow and steady aside from the shake of tension being worked out of his body. He wasn't one much for receiving massages, having preferred to give them out instead as a way to better know his lovers' bodies and this was a very pleasing reversal to feel it from the other side.

"Move how much?" he asked, a playful teasing in his tone. That sounded like a task, possibly even more than removing his pants had been. When considering what the reward for it would be, perhaps it wouldn't be such a big deal after all.

Eli could tell just how much Shannon liked the massage just from how his body was becoming almost boneless because of his hands. At first, he didn't respond to Shannon's question and instead slid around to sit on his lap and gently push him back onto the bed while his hands moved back to his chest to resume massaging.

"Just enough to get you completely on the bed," he said before he leaned down and kissed him. It was a long kiss, slow and gentle to complement his hands instead of taking attention from what he was doing. When he finally ended the kiss, he touched his forehead against Shannon's and grinned. "If that seems like too much movement, I'll just pick you up and put you there myself."

There was a huff of air at being pushed back, arms resting only momentarily on the comforter before he shifted his hands to sit lightly on Eli's legs. This position was okay, too. It meant he could just let his weight go entirely on the mattress and let Eli do as he wished while he continued the massage.

The kiss was met with similar attention, soft and pleased with the way that both sensations were complimenting each other. Without having to split his attention, it simply made it all the better for the experience. "Picking up would mean you'd have to stop," he hummed.

"Picking you up means that you can cuddle with me for a few moments until I can put you down and start again," Eli replied before he kissed him again and hummed softly in response. He stopped one of his hands to curl against his neck lightly, mimicking the feel of the collar he hadn't put on yet. "And I'll put your collar on as well. You'd like that, wouldn't you?"

Not waiting for a response, Eli moved off of Shannon and picked him up with ease, moving him completely on the bed. He then stripped off Shannon's remaining clothes before putting the collar on around his neck and rolling Shannon onto his front so Eli could straddle him. Once back in position, he started to massage his back once again, but now working on his lower back that he couldn't reach in their previous position. "There, this isn't so bad, now is it?"

As the imaginary collar was placed around his neck, he made a settling noise and let Eli do as he pleased. It made him shiver as Eli moved him around and placed him on the bed in the way he wanted, removing what clothes were left and starting his ministrations again somewhere just as good. In a movement to get more comfortable, his arms came up to his head to help pillow it.

"No," he said lightly. "Not bad. It'd never be bad. Collar's good."

"That's good to hear." His voice sounded distracted, like he wasn't focusing completely on the topic at hand and to be honest, he really wasn't. Eli's attention was on Shannon's body, searching out the little points of tension in his muscles to remove them and make him turn to putty under his hands.

"When we're done, we'll put your harness on and start the rest of the scene." He liked the fact that he could get to touch Shannon all he wants under the pretense of a massage and if he truly wanted to do this properly, he'd activate his powers and let it run through his muscles and loosen them up, but that was too much like cheating in Eli's mind and he wanted the excuse to touch him like this without Shannon wondering about what would come from it.

Putty was certainly the best way to describe him. Shannon tensed up only momentarily as Eli moved on from knot to knot, hands exploring an area not-often explored or paid any heed. His leg twitched in response to one particularly tough spot of tension and he tilted his head into the pillow to let out a small gasp.

Once that smoothed out, he tried to shift back into a better position. "Okay," he said easily. He was looking forward to it, wondering what would come next after this unexpected turn in the first place.

When Shannon responded to Eli's ministrations, he paused momentarily to see if he was hurting him, but once realizing that he wasn't, he kept going, making every knot was gone or loosened enough to not cause trouble before he moved on. He started to move lower on Shannon's body, leaving his back in search for tension to remove from his muscles and finding some. If he was a lesser man, he would have taken this moment to grope, but instead he didn't, working only on massaging him.

"What do you want out of this scene besides being low key?" It's a soft, questioning tone, only revealing a small amount of curiosity in his voice. Out of all the scenes they've done, this would be the first where everything is really on Shannon and what he wants to do. It's the only way Eli thinks he can make up for the last scene breaking him so badly.

"What?" It was almost cheating to ask when his mind was beginning to drift elsewhere, finding a spot to soak up the attention being paid to him. It was hard to want anything but the moment he was in. However, the further he sunk, the more he could feel the tickle of restlessness. His breathing changed rhythm, not panicked but somewhere between awareness and relaxation. "What do I want...?"

There was something in him that wanted nothing more than the chance to bask in affection, despite the niggling little doubt in his mind that said he shouldn't deserve it. He held himself still while he tried to work out his response. "You," he said slowly. "I want... you."

There was a moment where he paused, his hands firmly on Shannon as his mind decided to flee south momentarily. It took him a moment to figure out what he truly meant and the time it took was enough to start turning him on. His hands went back to work and Eli focused on the matter at hand. As much as he wanted his original thought to be true, he knew it wasn't and was fully away that Shannon wanted him in a different way.

"If that's what you want, I'll give it to you," he said as he leaned in, breathing the words into his ear before Eli kissed his shoulder. It was time to be affectionate and give Shannon what he wanted. "After all, just as you are mine, I am yours. All you ever need to do is ask and I'll do what you wish."

He tilted his head along the pillow when Eli stopped, unable to read what the hesitance was for other than the request he had made. Was it too much? He wasn't sure, but he found himself tensing up just a bit at the idea of garnering such a response in his Eli for such a wish.

When Eli gave responded so positively, it threw him for a loop and he couldn't help but untangle one of his arms and reach up to his shoulder in order to place his hand in Eli's hair. "You're mine?" he asked quietly, testing out the idea with his voice. The next was much less indecisive when he said, "I'm yours."

He knew his hesitation was definitely going to garner a bad response, but Eli was glad to see that Shannon reacted well to his response. Shannon was still in a fragile state mentally and he was going to do everything in his power to make things right. Even if that meant pointing out the obvious.

"I'm yours," he answered firmly, tilting his head towards Shannon's hand as if to prove his point. His hands moved from the massage up to grab Shannon's other hand and go into his hair. He made a pleased noise and kissed his shoulder again. "I always have been."
