Shannon was anxious. Not in a bad way, but the anticipatory way that everyone got when something new and exciting was going up and there was no way it could go badly, but predicting the end outcome was almost impossible. It was a great feeling, but one that left Shannon feeling like a teen heading out to prom instead of a grown man getting ready to have fun with his boyfriend and potentially make some hilariously heartfelt gestures to express his trust in Eli. That was probably something he didn't do enough in general, actually.

Breakfast had been something simple. Pancakes, fresh cut fruit and sausage. Eli had come over pretty early to get ready, talking over the generalities of what they were going to do while the specifics were to wait for after they were done. Well, now they were done and sitting on the couch, and Shannon's leg was jiggling even under the hand he had placed on his knee to keep himself still. Lacey had wandered off after breakfast, stomach filled with her own food and presumably was napping on the foot of the bed in Shannon's room. Probably for the better, really.

"So," he said, ignoring the obvious tell he was giving off. If Eli took it for misapprehension, then Shannon was going to definitely lean over and smack him. "Where do we start?"

The touch was expected and allowed by Eli, a reward for Shannon's behavior thus far and something Eli was enjoying. He groaned into Shannon's mouth at the touch and part of him wanted to just stay there, touching and loving his sub while he did the same back, but he had something planned that would show his sub the attention and love his Dom wanted to give him.

Both hands moved to grab Shannon's wrists and pin them above his head against the bed. "Don't move your hands," he ordered gently before he released his wrists and put the shackles on. Once the shackles are on, he tied them tightly to the headboard and then went back to petting Shannon's hair as he kissed him, his other hand ghosting across his chest.

Was that all? He let his Dom rearrange his hands, held them still where they had been laid while he felt the leather close around his wrists. That was easy. It didn't stop him from trying to surge forward and continue kissing at his Dom, his mouth or jaw or neck or anywhere else he could reach without the aid of his hands. It might have been a good time to catch his breath, but he was more occupied with maintaining contact between the two of them. Once he was secured, he let his arms lower, allowing the shackles take the brunt of his weight.

Light touches against his chest. It wasn't firm enough, and he whimpered against his Dom's mouth while trying to press into it, hands jerking against the binding fruitlessly. Any and all connection. His legs were still wrapped around his Dom's waist and he used that to his advantage to gain leverage. Some distant part of him considered that he should wait for his Dom to make the move, but his instincts were so strong and there was no other direction to be had that he merely did his best to do what felt right.

As much as Eli liked the eagerness, he needed to get him under control and make him wait for him to make the first move. The Dom controlled the situation, not the sub, and it was time to make that lesson stick. He broke away from the kiss and pulled back from Shannon before he took his left hand and placed it on his chest firmly to hold him down. Despite being his dominant hand, it was also damaged badly and there was slight tremors going through it as he held him. It was a message that even at his weakest point, the sub couldn't even think of overpowering him.

"Patience," he warned carefully, letting his hand and tone carry what he wanted from him. Shannon was smart and if his sub wanted him to give him the attention he craved, then he would obey unquestionably. "I will take care of you, but you must behave and wait. You do want your Dom to be happy, don't you?"

When his Dom pulled away so much, his sub kept his head up off the pillow as if to follow the movement with every sense he had left. At the hand on his chest, he let himself fall back and finally start to breathe again. His mind was still of no use, short-circuited rather heavily after so much intense attention. He squirmed at the pressure, but did not try to break away or otherwise fight from his Dom's wishes to hold him still.

"Mm," he mumbled, trying to locate his words again. His Dom had asked him a question and he was waiting for an answer. If his Dom wanted his sub to be patient, then he would do his best to do so. "Yes. Yes, please. Anything. I'll wait. Don't stop," he pleaded. He would behave if it meant his Dom was happy, would share that happiness with the sub.

That was better. He wanted his sub waiting and eager to please. Eli was definitely going to take his time with him and was going to extend the time in whatever way he could. "You've been such a good boy that I'm giving you permission to talk. Tell me what you want."

He started to remove his jacket, dropping it on the floor so Shannon could hear. Then he started loosening his gloves, not taking them off completely, and brushed the empty fingertips against his lips. "Take these off for me," he ordered lazily, a drawl slipping into his voice.

"Touch me," he requested. The hand waiting on his chest was only the start. He wanted to feel his Dom everywhere, know that he had nothing he could hide. This feeling buzzing around on the edges of his nerves was making it hard to think and didn't want to think. He wanted to feel. "Please, don't let me go, I don't want this to stop. Please."

His head turned away to follow the sound of the jacket, the thud of it against the floor and the crumple as it lost its shape. When the glove tips were placed to his lips, he shifted to place them against his cheek instead, gauging how much space his Dom had created; he didn't want to bite any fingers, didn't want to bring his Dom any pain or discomfort. Once he had an idea, he tilted his head back and nipped at the fingertips with his teeth, pulling his head back and to the side to slip glove from hand. He couldn't manage it in one motion, having to let go and grab at the palm of the glove now loose around his Dom's knuckles to pull again. Turning his head against the pillow, he dropped the first glove and proceeded to repeat the process for the second one. This time he placed a soft kiss against the pads of the fingers, murmuring nothings softly.

"I will touch you in due time. By the time we're done, all you're going to remember is my touch," he said calmly, his voice soothing. When he gets started, he'll make sure Shannon get what he wants. A happy sub makes for a happy Dom and Eli knows that all too well. "You're mine and I take care of what's mine. Don't ever forget that."

He waits patiently for Shannon to remove one glove and then the other, letting him take his time and not urging him to hurry up. There's a soft smile as Shannon kissed his fingers and he moved his hand down only a little bit to grasp his chin to push it up and expose his neck. Then he leaned down and kissed his neck gently while he ran the nails of one hand down Shannon's chest, scratching lightly enough to not mark him.

"Never," he promised. How could he possibly forget when his Dom was taking care of him right now? Focusing solely on his sub to keep him safe and loved? That was absurd. "Never forget. You—ah."

He cut off a breathless gasp as nails gently raked across his skin, just enough to send a flurry of sensation whispering down his nerves. His legs, still wrapped around his Dom's waist and back, squeezed and pulled downward trying to keep his Dom. This was his and he was not his own and everything was right. "Eli," he moaned, the name on his lips meaning everything to him. It was instinct beyond his missing thoughts. This was his Dom.

At Shannon saying Eli's name like that, something in his mind shut down for a moment and he pressed his face against Shannon's neck, breathing heavily against his skin as he dug his nails slightly into his side. He hadn't expected Shannon to say his name quite like that and while it was nice, it caught him off guard and he didn't need that right now. He took a deep breath to calm himself down and then got back to work taking care of his sub.

He reached up to hold Shannon's hands and gave them a tight squeeze as he gave his neck a quick kiss before moving up and kissing him properly. If Shannon wanted Eli to touch, then that's what he was going to do. He let go of his hands and lightly ran his nails down Shannon's arms to his back, scratching down his back a little harder than what he did on his chest. Then once he hit the top of Shannon's underwear, he reached up to position his arms so that he could pull Shannon closer to him and make sure their bodies were pushed together as much as they could be.

The headboard rattled as he tried to reach down, to feel at his Dom when pressed in against his neck. He didn't think anything was wrong, but he wanted them to be touching as much as possible even if his hands were bound up. His Dom had done that. Did his Dom want his sub all to himself? His hands clenched tightly when his Dom grabbed at them, then he huffed and breathed sharply from his nostrils through the kiss while those nails sent shudders up and down his spine.

"Oh god," he whimpered against his Dom's mouth. Now they were so close he could feel another heartbeat through the leather shirt his Dom still wore, sensed the heat of his unclad arms, slightly cool against his own warm skin. It was a sensation that permeated through him, delicious and satisfying. He was pulling against the shackles with a constant force in effort to connect with his Dom with everything he had, not even stopping to think about how much pressure would be on his wrists. His mind was devoted to the kiss that he was being given, their intertwined bodies. Even his constant litany of breathless muttering was beyond his own attention.

The headboard rattling made Eli glance up at Shannon's wrists and he frowned slightly. If he kept pulling like that, he'd really hurt himself and considering how deep he is in this, he probably wouldn't notice until he came out of it. So as much as he was hoping to keep him tied up, Eli couldn't with a clear conscience and undid the shackles so that Shannon wouldn't hurt himself.

Once the shackles were off, Eli brought his arms back to their position at his back where they kept Shannon tightly pressed up against him. The heat from Shannon's body felt good against both his leather outfit and bare skin, so he definitely didn't mind keeping him close like this, especially since this is what his sub wanted. Hopefully, this would burn him out faster so that he could pull him out of this mindset and back into normality. This was definitely too much too fast, especially for Shannon's first go. Eli could only hope Shannon wouldn't be upset for pushing him this far.

Being undone from the headboard was a surprise. He brought his hands down and slid them over his Dom's sides, resting one on skin where the shirt was riding up and then shifting the other to the center of his Dom's back, along his shoulder and bicep, once again beginning to knead where his hand eventually stopped. However, the lack of shackles was swirling around in his head. He was put up there because his Dom had wanted it. His Dom had been given no reason to no longer wish for it, unless...

"Did I—" He paused, pulling away from the kiss long enough to swallow in an effort to moisten his throat. "Do something... wrong?" Was he supposed to do better? He could do better. He couldn't stand the idea of his Dom being upset at him for not being good.

"No, you did nothing wrong. I am not angry with you. I merely didn't want you to accidentally hurt yourself since this is your first time," he answered carefully. It was the truth, but Shannon was in a fragile state right now and he didn't want him to get upset over something that was really nothing. "There was also something else that I had planned for you and for that I need your hands free so I can move you."

It was a simple answer. If his Dom said so, then he must have seen something that his sub couldn't have noticed. His hands moved once again, up near his Dom's neck where he buried his own face along the crook there in order to breathe in the scent and try to press their bodies even further. "Okay," he said easily. If his Dom had plans, then there wasn't even a thought of argument. Just a desperate need to be good and stay close.

"If you ever do anything wrong, I will always tell you," Eli said to him softly, left hand reaching up to pet Shannon's hair gently. His question had been worrying to Eli and he felt the need to comfort and let his sub know how things would go between them. "My lovely little sub, you never have to be worried about me being angry at you. Nothing you do would cause me to get angry."

He then adjusted his right hand as he pulled himself into a sitting position so that he could carry Shannon once again with ease. Once he got that sorted, he got off the bed into a standing position and walked out towards the bathroom. He wanted to get water for Shannon again, noticing that he was starting to show signs of needing it, and the bathroom was closer. "Focus on me," he ordered, his voice quiet. He didn't need a repeat of earlier.

There was comfort, a hand returning to his hair. Whereas his attention had been at a pinpoint, the world now faded around him; he was anchored only by his Dom holding him and keeping him from falling adrift. When they stood, he wrapped one arm around the back of his Dom's neck out of a natural instinct to keep from losing his balance. Giving a contented sigh, he nuzzled as best he could while those pesky glasses were in the way. It didn't even occur to him that, with his hands free, he could remove them himself. They were just there, and there they would stay.

"Focus." Wasn't he already doing that? Air currents shifting around him, the motion of his Dom carrying him... somewhere. It didn't matter. Not when his Dom had him and he was so warm. "Focus," he repeated.

He couldn't help but smile at Shannon trying to nuzzle with his glasses on and not quite aware enough to realize that he could just take them off. Eli would definitely remove them for Shannon, but with his hands both occupied at the moment, he couldn't do anything to help at that specific moment. Thankfully, the bathroom was not much of a walk and they got there soon enough, Eli setting Shannon on the counter by the sink so that he could first take off Shannon's glasses and place them somewhere safe and then unclip the water bottle from his belt and then fill it up with water.

Despite his being busy, he did not stray from Shannon and did everything from the spot where he had placed him. When the water bottle was full and the lid screwed on, he used his hand in Shannon's hair to move his head carefully so he could place the open spout against his sub's lips. "Drink this," Eli said to Shannon, his voice holding the tone of a command. "Once you do, we can go back to bed."

When he was placed on the counter, he pushed further against his Dom. The arm wrapped around his Dom's neck came down for his hand to splay against his Dom's chest over his heart. Now free of the glasses, he managed to nuzzle while his Dom filled the bottle; he could tell that's what it was, the water pouring into an empty, plastic container. He wanted to be close and, unless his Dom told him otherwise, he was going to maintain that as long as possible.

At the command, he did as he was told. It took a moment, putting the command together with the bottle at his lips. He drank greedily, realizing after the first swallow how thirsty he actually was. He drank until it was dry, then frowned around the bottle and tilted his head away as best he could, choosing to press it back into the hand at his hair.

It wasn't a surprise when Shannon drank the entire bottle once again and this time Eli automatically went and refilled the bottle, not even bothering with asking since he knew Shannon was at the point where he didn't notice his body's condition. Once the bottle was full again, he pressed the spout against his lips. "Again," he ordered gently, his hand moving to massage Shannon's scalp lightly with his fingers.

Eli knew he would obey his command and that once he was done he'd stop, so he waited patiently and once he was done, Eli pulled the bottle away and closed the spout before clipping it back onto his pants. That out of the way, he kissed Shannon gently before burying his face into his neck. "You're doing so good," he breathed against against his skin, taking the chance to inhale his scent. "I'll reward you once we get back to the other room."

He hummed in appreciation, both to the kiss and then having even more of his Dom's attention. He was so glad he was doing this right, nothing else in his mind other than making sure his Dom was pleased. "Thank you," he said earnestly, pressing his lips to his Dom's collar bone, beginning to place them in a trail up along the side of his neck and up his jaw while he kept up a litany of sincere thank yous.

The response Eli got from Shannon was good and before he moved away from his neck, he lightly scraped his teeth against his skin, almost as if he was going to bite him but didn't. Adjusting his hands back to his carrying position, he picked Shannon up and carried him back to the bedroom, carefully putting them both back down on the bed.

He grabbed Shannon's wrists and forced them up over Shannon's head, pinning them against the mattress. "Don't move your hands or I'll stop," he commanded before he let go and moved his hands to Shannon's legs, urging them to unwrap from around him. "Relax and be patient for me. Do you understand?"

Shannon moaned lightly at the teeth on his neck, then held on for their movement once again. He had no idea where they were going, but it was safe and that was all he was concerned about.

When he unlocked his legs at his Dom's command, there was a slight pause where they almost stayed there anyway. He huffed, forcing them to move and lay across the bed as his Dom wanted from him. The urge to do something with his hands was so strong, but he clenched them into loose fists to try and stay still and kept himself exactly where his Dom had put him. "Yes sir," he said automatically. He could do this. It was the least he could do.

As soon as he saw Shannon obey him, Eli moved so that he was sprawled next to him on the bed. He didn't stay still for long though, immediately reaching for one of his hands and turning it around so that he can kiss his wrist. "Very good," he murmured softly into his skin. "You may now move your hands. I would like you to sit up for me."

Once he sees Shannon comply, he moves to sit behind him, his chest pressed up against Shannon's back. He closed his eyes for a moment and just felt, allowing himself to feel the electricity flowing through Shannon's body for the first time since they started. Sure, Shannon may have been the Aspect of fire, but he was still human and had the same electrical impulses everyone else did. Of course, that meant that Eli had to be careful with what he was about to do, but he had the control and knew to not push too hard. He moved his arms to wrap around Shannon's body, his right arm positioned upwards so that his hand could curl around his neck loosely.

Shannon wanted him to touch him, so Eli was just going to give him what he wanted. He reached out to the nerves hidden under the surface and manipulated them to feel only one thing: touch. Soft, gentle touches seemed to spread out down from his neck and onto his chest. For now, he wasn't going to cover anymore, but that was enough to start with.

Although he knew his Dom was going to take care of him, this was beyond his imagination. Beyond human capability, actually, and it was frighteningly beautiful. It wasn't even anything more than a tease of a touch and already he let himself fall into it. He gasped out loud as the wash of sensation covered his chest, a caress that reached up to his chin. His let his head fall back, eyelids fluttering while he processed it all at once. His Dom had become not only everything, but everywhere. His hands had moved automatically to find balance and leverage, one pressing into the sheets of the bed while the other held to his Dom's calf beside him. His legs curled partway, unable to decide where they should go that his touch might be amplified.

"Feels good," he mumbled. "Feels so good."

Eli had told Shannon that all he was going to make him remember only his touch and it seemed like Eli wanted to make sure that was going to be the case. Seeing and hearing Shannon's reaction made him grin, glad to know that his sub was truly enjoying this. He extended the reach of his touch down to his navel and spread it down his arms and hands, wanting to cover his entire body, but knowing that doing that too quickly could overwhelm him and his nerves, which wouldn't be any fun for either of them.

"I know," he replied calmly, his left hand moving to pet Shannon's hair affectionately. He could never use his powers to manipulate nerves above the neck for fear of interfering with the brain. Eli was well aware that his powers could wipe away a person's short-term memory if he did it or with enough power, wipe their entire mind clean. No, he'd stick to old fashion contact to touch Shannon's head and hair. "Where else do you want me to touch?"
