Everything hurt.

Strictly speaking, that wasn't exactly true, but enough of him hurt that it qualified as pretty much everything in his mind. That girl had done a number on him during their duel and he had fallen back onto the ground once she had sprinted away, not really in any condition to move despite the planet falling apart around him. Kylo closed his eyes and pounded the wound in his side, keeping him sharp enough to at least not pass out from his injuries.

There was a slight shift though, Kylo felt like a ripple in the Force that went oddly quiet as the rumbling ground beneath him stopped. Eyes fluttering open, he forced himself into a sitting position, wincing at the wound at his side aching at the movement before noticing his surroundings. This wasn't the planet that made up the Starkiller base. A sun illuminated the sky and the temperature was far warmer than the base could ever be.

Immediately, he looked around in search of his lightsaber, but it was nowhere to be found. Kylo frowned and then hissed at the pain any sort of facial movement caused the new cut. Thankfully, lightsaber wounds were cauterized due to the makeup of the blade. He could not say the same thing about the injury thanks to Chewbacca's bowcaster. That was bleeding a fair bit and he'd have to take care of that soon enough or there'd be a problem.

WHO Cole Turner and Chris Halliwell
WHAT The sisters and Leo disappear under new identities at the end of season and stay gone, leaving Wyatt and Chris (and eventually their baby sister Melinda) to be raised by their grandfather Victor and their powers bound. Cole is pulled from the void with his powers intact and charged to watch over the kids as some sort of ghostlighter. Fast forward to the kids being in their late teens/early twenties, where they learn that they're the new Charmed Ones, Wyatt and Chris are whitelighters, and that they're stuck under Cole's now visible watchful eye.
WHEN uh, the future?
WHERE around
WHY because Leo has topped himself by being an even worse parent.

This was a mess. Cole knew the kids hated him after he had been trying to push them into training harder than he really should have been and alienated all three of them from him. Chris was the one he pushed farthest away just by him being so much like his incredibly stubborn mother. Things had gotten somewhat better after Cole's ingenious plan to summon Patty from beyond the grave so that she could not only teach her youngest grandson to channel his active power properly, but also teach all three of her grandchildren about being witches and what that meant. It didn't make Cole get back into everyone's good graces, but it settled things enough that everything went back to some level of normalcy around the house.

Wyatt and Melinda had some level of acceptance of magic forcing its way into their lives, but Chris still fought it and every time Chris left, Cole followed at a distance, letting him try to have some sort of life while keeping him safe from the magical forces that wanted him dead just for being one of the Charmed Ones. Eventually though, Cole had enough of this sulking around and trying to stupidly prove that he could have a normal life, so he dusted in where he sensed Chris to be and looked around. Oh good, he wasn't in public and was alone. That was always good.

"Alright, I think the two of us need to talk about some things and set down some ground rules from here on out," Cole started and immediately held up a hand. "Don't even think about orbing off because I can and will follow you through every realm and plane your orbs can reach, so let's just skip the part where you run off like a kid at least half your age, okay?"

WHAT A demigod and a mob boss sometimes dabble in sadomasochism as stress relief

WHY insert blaming Leo here because it's forever his fault

It was absolute chaos. That was really all that could be said about what happened. The fallout was bad with them, though more people were shaken up than downright injured. Even then, there were still injuries and trying to settle things back to some level of normalcy for them in the desolate future they had to survive in. Diego took it all in stride, as he had to, since he was the only person who was smart enough to stand against the Terminals and the only one capable of actually leading if their group actually succeeded in changing the status quo.

Everyone came first in this time of need and he was dealing with taking care of his subordinates when he finally spotted Noah, wound up and stressed like the rest of his followers. Diego knew that taking care of Noah was top priority, not because he thought he couldn't deal with this, but because he was fully aware of what exactly Noah was and having him pushed to the brink would only make the demigod of a cure snap and get violent with those around him and Diego really didn't feel like cleaning up yet another mess alongside the current one he was already dealing with.

At the first moment he could, he passed his duties along to others that could carry the load and made sure he wouldn't be bothered for the rest of the day before he went to find Noah, which was easy enough knowing the demigod like he did. Not even looking to see if he was busy or not, he walked over to him and cleared his throat loudly. "Stop what you're doing and get your ass to my room," he rumbled in a tone that sounded a bit irritated but truly wasn't. "C'mon kid, we don't have all day, so get into gear and move it."

WHAT miqo'te were not meant to stay in Coerthas for any extended period of time
WHEN post-2.56
WHERE Camp Dragonhead
WHY It's probably Leo's fault

Alichi'ra was not usually an impatient miqo'te, but staying in Camp Dragonhead was putting him on edge. It was partially his own natural dislike for crowded areas (as make Keeper of the Moon miqo'te did not do well in busy towns) and also because it was difficult to go out and see what was happening in the other three city-states. Between him and O'danya, he was the political one of the two and needed more information to see if there was anything that could be done about the Syndicate's complete control over Ul'dah.

Without that to help ease his thoughts, he turned to other distractions. He helped the blacksmiths and armorers churn out new weapons and armors for the House Fortemps soldiers, he wrote of the adventures both he and O'danya had together, and he helped trained the lancers who were currently stationed in Camp Dragonhead. Right now, he was working with the worst of the worst, trying to get them into shape for their fight against the dragons and Lady Iceheart's heretics.

"You all know that I am one of the two known as the Warrior of Light and that I am to be your trainer. Despite that, I am not to be held in higher regard than any of your other trainers," he started, lance in hand. While his clothes might be considered odd for armor, the legendary relic lance he carried was enough proof that he was meant to be standing in front of them. "I have been tasked with you as my students because I have been told that any lesser lancer would not be able to assist you, so I will train you up and you will prove to them that you are worthy to carry that lance in your hands and fight for your nation and your god."

WHAT dumb teenagers dealing with each other
WHEN fixed timeline, idk when exactly I'm too lazy to do math

WHY because this is probably Leo's fault

Things never seemed to go right in his life. His father murdered before his eyes when he was a child, his mother raising him as a demon and pushing him to become a mercenary, and then finally taking this job to find the weakness to get at the Charmed Ones. He had been forced to deal with the middle child of the oldest Charmed One since they were about the same age and no matter how hard he tried to keep his distance, he became friends with him and eventually, fell in love with him. This was what he was warned again, but yet he still did it because he couldn't help it.

Of course, things went from bad to worse with the revelation that he was a demon and that he had been sent to take out the sisters. For once though, things turned for the better. His mother was vanquished, he was free, and he had been taken in by one of the sisters to give him something resembling a normal human life. The downside was that Chris was still angry at him, feeling betrayed because he had originally used their friendship to try getting at his family.

Cole had talked to Paige about it a lot when they had their chats about things that were on his mind and helping him deal with both halves of himself. She knew her nephew far better than Cole could ever have the chance to in his short time as his friend and she had given him some advice as to how to deal with him and maybe try to start repairing their broken friendship. So one Friday afternoon after school, Cole decided to be a proper demon and attack the problem head on. With Kat, Tamara, and Henry Jr in tow, he headed over to the manor so that not could they hang out with their cousins, but so Cole had a reason to be there that wouldn't have him be kicked out of the house. After saying hello to Piper and Leo, Cole headed upstairs to look for Chris and when he found him, he crossed his arms and leaned against the doorway.

"So, I wanted to talk. About things. And maybe you could help me with my history homework," he said calmly. "You think you'd be okay with that or do you still want to toss me into a wall?"

WHY blame Leo

There were always a number of different requests given to her day in and day out as to what people wanted from her. They ranged from the cute and relatively mundane to the weird and "I'm going to call security to escort you out of here." This request, however was an odd one. Total anonymity in an industry that thrived on being anonymous of everyone's safety to an extreme most people didn't usually take it. It was because of anonymity that she was called Bat here, beyond the fact that of course she'd call herself one of the cutest animals ever.

The client was a woman, young and quite clearly carrying an air of nervousness over the whole situation. Most people couldn't really go through with this, chickening out before they got through the front door, but she had stayed firm, making it all the way to her room, blindfolded and waiting for Bat to lead her in. The room was dark, the only light being what little could shine in from the window that had its blinds closed to make it as dark as possible. Thankfully for both of them, she knew the layout of the room and took the girl's hand, gently leading her to the bed and sitting her down on it, sitting down on it as well and pulling her to the center of the bed.

"You know the rules? Whatever happens, if you want it to stop, we're stopping. You just got to let me know."

It was going to be a good day to be traveling. Even early in the morning as it was, Belthazor could tell that it was going to be ideal conditions that wouldn't slow them down. They were at an inn, taking advantage of the rare times they were able to stop in a town and rest. Chris was still sleeping, though Belthazor was about to change that. Walking over to his master's bed, he reached down and poked his forehead gently, making sure to not scratch him with his claw.

"Summoner." Belthazor's mental 'voice' rang sharply through the link, using emotions and memories to convey his intent to Chris far better than his own made up sign language could. Besides, it was hard to make hand signals that a sleeping boy could read, thus poking and mental communication. Seeing that it wasn't quite working, Belthazor poked the summon sigil on Chris's abdomen none too gently. "Summoner, you need to wake up."

Sleeping was the absolute worst for someone like Alex. Being an empath, vampiric or not, meant that no matter what, Alex could feel everything. During the day when he was awake and could focus, Alex could just block it out, ignore the desire to find the nearest person and take his fill of of their feelings, their desires. When he was asleep, he had absolutely no control over everyone's feelings rushing in and overtaking his mind as dreams twisted into nightmares and nightmares back to dreams on a whim.

It helped to have Jordan next to him, a soothing, familiar mind to help make a shield around Alex's raw nerve of a mind. Tonight was a bad night and not even his boyfriend laying next to him could stop the emotional onslaught he felt. Tossing and turning, he pushed himself up against Jordan in his sleep until there was no more bed and he pushed Jordan off accidentally, waking up the moment he felt the pain from his boyfriend.

"Damn it," he murmured as he ran his hands through his hair and looked in the direction where he knew Jordan lay on the floor. "You okay down there or do I have to send in search and rescue to bring you back up?"

WHERE Various places
WHY because fuck you Richards, that's why

It was something that had been bothering him for a while, a question that had been left unanswered and one that he was finally deciding to spend his time on now that he had to build up his resources and wait instead of attacking. Who was the girl who had appeared out of nowhere and integrated herself with his greatest enemies? She was an unknown variable, a puzzle to be solved, a threat to be destroyed. He needed to figure her out so he could properly dispose of her and move onto his real targets.

That would take time and research and since his last defeat, he'd take things slower so that he could do things properly. First, he watched from afar through cameras and finding videos of her exploits. Her flight was unnatural, something that couldn't be explained like how he and the others could be. Then, he had to take readings where he couldn't be caught. It was easy enough, send a small drone out to take the readings during a fight, with everyone distracted enough to not notice yet another spectator to the match. That was when he noticed it. He needed to study her in person, he had to know if the readings were correct.

So he set up a plan. A test run of his newly created Doombots would do nicely. Five points of attack to separate everyone so that he could grab the little insect like a flytrap, snatch her up in such a way that nobody could save her from his grasp. It was a beautiful day for an attack too, bright and sunny with no chance of rain. Donning his mask and outfit, Doom went out with his army of Doombots and waited on a skyscraper for his target to pass on the way to one company of his Doombots. When she arrived, he would be ready.

WHAT Care of Magical Creatures apparently involves dragons. Or an animagus professor being a troll and messing with his students. Thirteen year old Eli knows better than to fall for that.
WHEN Modern-ish setting? Eli's third year at school.
WHERE Salem Witches Institute, a courtyard.

For the first time in his time at school, Eli was not running late to a class that wasn't Transfiguration. He wasn't the first to make it to the courtyard where class was being held, but he was far from the last. Every since he was a child, he loved to read about all sorts of different creatures and a class just about the magical ones was definitely right up his alley, especially if he got to interact with them first hand.

He wasn't expected the whispers and panicked looks on some of his classmates' faces when he arrived. His small size meant that the crowd of students was a wall to him and forced him to weave around legs and bodies so that he could get a closer look to see what had gotten them all worked up. He was expecting something surprising, but he didn't expect to see a dragon laying in the courtyard with the professor nowhere to be found.

Why is there a dragon here? Aren't they supposed to be dangerous? This is so cool! Did the dragon eat the professor? Where is he at? Questions fluttered in the air as Eli frowned at the dragon, feeling that something was off about it. He knew that it wasn't a dragon and when it finally clicked, he couldn't help but smile widely. It was so obvious and nobody else could tell.

"It's not a dragon, everyone," Eli said loudly, his childish voice carrying an air of duh as he said it and walked out towards where the not-dragon lay. There was some shock and one of the other kids tried to reach out to stop him but he avoided it deftly in a way that only a small person could do so effectively. Getting close to the dragon, he looked straight at it without any fear and spoke. "Hello, Professor. Are we learning about dragons today?"

WHAT Let's Fix Stargate Universe
WHEN post-Twin Destinies
WHERE Atlantis at first. Other places later, obviously.

It was a day and a half before Rush was able to pull himself out of bed after having accidentally walked through a window into another universe and had his soul ripped out of his body. He shouldn't have been sitting up, let alone standing and walking around, but he was an incredibly stubborn man and he had something that he needed to do. Things were complicated back home, with one Telford dead that he was to blame for and his younger alternate self probably carrying the blame for his death despite the fact that he had nothing to do with it. Sure, it had been an accident, but considering how things had gone down, he wasn't sure Young would be happy about his friend's death by the hands of his once rival and he didn't want his younger self to be punished for this. No, he needed to see if he was safe and if he wasn't, make sure that he could return to the ship and continue the mission.

Thanks to his state of being, nearly all of his attempts for assistance were replied with comments on how he should be resting, but there was one person who wished to help despite his weakness. He was still a child, just barely outside of his teens, but beggars couldn't be choosers and if he could help, then he couldn't care less about his age. Together, they went to the window and Rush hastily reminded the young man--Chris, that was his name, yes--what they expected to find on the other side and where they needed to go. Not that he needed it, but it was a precaution Rush needed more than anything.

Then they went through the window and almost immediately went from space to the vaguely familiar surroundings of a room. It was alien and minimalist, but Rush knew exactly where they were. They were in Atlantis, which means they were back on Earth. Looking over at Chris, Rush moved over to the door and waved his hand over the panel to open it. Since Chris didn't seem to be harmed, then they shouldn't stay in this room for too long. The city's sensors would have picked them up immediately and it was only the human element that was going to allow them the time to move.

"We need to get moving immediately. It wouldn't be in our best interests to get caught."

He's late.

Being in the employ of Shannon Vaughn means that being late is a bad thing and Eli knew that well, but living with his father and having to deal with him meant that sometimes he ran late because of a conversation had gone on too long or he needed to go run an errand for him. Normally, he could cheat by just teleporting to get there on time, but he still wasn't familiar with this part of town and he didn't want to be seen by anyone who didn't know about his powers. Plus, he had been ordered to go to an alley and teleporting in would just be a bad idea all around in that case.

So Eli had to run all the way from the apartment he shared with his father to the specific alley he had been told to go to, nearly getting turned around at a couple of points due to the mental map he had of the area not being fully complete yet. But he successfully got to the street the alley was connected to only a few minutes late, looking like he had run all the way from home. He took a moment to slow down his breathing and heart rate and did his best to make himself presentable. Once that was taken care of, he slipped down the alley and did his best to try and make sure Shannon didn't notice when he got to where he was dealing with whatever unfortunate person who had gotten on the wrong side of his boss.

Case closed, bad guy's caught, and there aren't any new cases burning a hole on his desk that he needs to deal with immediately. Which makes his morning trip over to June's to see Neal pretty out of the ordinary, but Peter's not going there for business. No, there's something more important the two of them need to talk about and it's not something they can discuss at the office.

The maid lets him in and he makes his way up to the balcony apartment where Neal makes his home. As soon as he gets onto the third floor, he can feel the buzz of another immortal nearby and he has to keep himself from putting his hand near where his sword hides in his jacket. It's just Neal, he thinks to himself, but he knows he won't calm down until he sees him. Once he's out on the balcony and sees that yes, it is Neal, he pulls himself out of alert.

"Neal, I've been thinking about something. I think it's time we had a talk."
