WHO Kylo Ren ([personal profile] littlelightofmine), Casey Ramone ([personal profile] dragonaught)
WHAT A wild emo appears Jamjar stuff, badly injured Kylo Ren pops up, Casey stumbles upon him.
WHEN uhhhhh
WHERE uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh somewhere????
WHY because Leo Han Solo is a terrible dad.

Everything hurt.

Strictly speaking, that wasn't exactly true, but enough of him hurt that it qualified as pretty much everything in his mind. That girl had done a number on him during their duel and he had fallen back onto the ground once she had sprinted away, not really in any condition to move despite the planet falling apart around him. Kylo closed his eyes and pounded the wound in his side, keeping him sharp enough to at least not pass out from his injuries.

There was a slight shift though, Kylo felt like a ripple in the Force that went oddly quiet as the rumbling ground beneath him stopped. Eyes fluttering open, he forced himself into a sitting position, wincing at the wound at his side aching at the movement before noticing his surroundings. This wasn't the planet that made up the Starkiller base. A sun illuminated the sky and the temperature was far warmer than the base could ever be.

Immediately, he looked around in search of his lightsaber, but it was nowhere to be found. Kylo frowned and then hissed at the pain any sort of facial movement caused the new cut. Thankfully, lightsaber wounds were cauterized due to the makeup of the blade. He could not say the same thing about the injury thanks to Chewbacca's bowcaster. That was bleeding a fair bit and he'd have to take care of that soon enough or there'd be a problem.

It wasn't uncommon for Casey to be out for a walk. There was still a lot to see around and sometimes they couldn't just sit still where it was safer or wait for good weather. No, getting out more was definitely good and helped them figure out where they'd ended up and was apparently going to be staying for the foreseeable future.

What they didn't expect at all was to see someone fallen on the outskirts of town in dark black robes. The angle wasn't the most flattering but as Casey got closer, they saw the damage on his face and felt their heart drop down into their gut. That was not a good sight at all. They dropped whatever they were doing and rushed over, falling onto their knees at the man's sides.

"What happened?" they asked, already trying to ascertain the damage and severity. It strangely looked cauterized in places but that didn't mean much for chance of infection or opening up once more.

There were a lot of ways someone could react to an attempt at help when injured. Lashing out was one of them, sure, but Casey didn't imagine it being so coordinated and intentional as choking them and practically raising them off their knees with the force of the hold. They made a choked sound, adrenaline rolling through their veins in response to the fight or flight situation, and first tried to pry the hand away. That was futile in and of itself but the instinct couldn't be helped.

What they tried second was something almost as natural as the physical response, hands pulling away to clench at the air instead. The magic floating free all around them. They grasped at the earth below and pulled it out in a rush of earthen might, surrounding the arm holding at their throat and constricting the airflow before slamming that arm back to the ground. Underneath it, really, what with the rest of the earth over it settling back in place with its new quarry. Casey coughed, shifted and tossed their hand out to the other side to do the same to the stranger's other arm just as a precaution. Not something they wanted to do, but better to restrain him to keep either of them out of danger.

Trying to catch their breath, Casey sat forward with palms flat to the ground and coughed in an attempt to push past the fading sensation of pressure. Hopefully that wouldn't leave a mark... In between the labored breaths, they looked up and gave the man an inscrutable look. "I'm a medic. I don't know about any resistance," they said finally. "You're hurt."
