WHAT idk Hawk said we could
WHEN Sometime in early season six
WHERE Underworld, Cole's pimp lair
WHY this is all Leo's fault
WARNINGS Mind control???

This was definitely not how Chris expected his time in the past to go. Despite interference not only from Leo once he returned, Cole Turner was getting in the way to an extreme degree that Chris hadn't anticipated. In his own time, Cole was long gone and taken care of by Wyatt, dead just like anyone else. Here in the past, the half-demon was still kicking and on some unknown agenda that Chris had never bothered to really investigate as long as Cole kept his distance from little Wyatt.

That was turning out to be a mistake.

Now he was in the Underworld, bound up in a way he couldn't properly move and couldn't orb out and his nerves were already beginning to fray. With the way the sisters didn't quite know whether to trust him or not and his father already out for his blood, the chances of them putting a priority on Chris's rescue were uncertain. Whatever it was Cole planned to do with the Charmed Ones' whitelighter, he couldn't imagine it was pretty.

"Hey, are you just going to stand there all day?" he taunted. Never let it be said Chris wasn't a Halliwell, whether anyone knew it or not. Sitting and taking whatever this was just wouldn't do.

WHAT An alternate ending to the story of a summoner and his summon. Or is this just the beginning?
WHEN During the fall when Chris is almost 20.
WHERE Lord Turner's estate.
WHY The Holy Order of Whitelighters just shouldn't be in charge of anything. Including having kids because Leo's a terrible dad.

There were a lot of things that paladins had to do as part of their duties to king and country. Maintaining the land and watching summoners were some of the most important, but they also needed to make peace with the lords, ladies and people of every corner of the kingdom to ensure their influence was spread wide as possible. One particular lord was extremely adamant about not allowing the Order of Whitelighters into his lands and it was becoming a common and tiring argument for the paladins to make a yearly appeal to allow them entrance.

However, this was Chris's first time being brought along for the useless mission. He had only this past summer been properly knighted after his expedited training ever since his fourteenth birthday, something people blamed on nepotism where Chris honestly blamed it on a guilty conscience pushing him too far in his training. Whatever the case, he was still considered a rookie by all the other full-fledged paladins and was still being stuck with the most menial of tasks while they hazed him for real. As if all those years of bending to their whims as a trainee wasn't enough. There was no room for him to complain, though, and he did the tasks set to him with no genuine bite behind them. This was all he was good for anymore, and he would at least make sure he could do it well enough to make Leo proud of his son in some meager way.

Knocking on the large ornate doors to the sitting room only briefly before allowing himself in, Chris announced himself easily. "Sir Wyatt," he said. "We've received missive from Sir Gideon that Lord Odin has signed himself if you have a moment to excuse yourself."

Without precedence, his attention was struggling to remain on Leo while he delivered the message. He couldn't help but let his eyes be drawn to the aggravated lord seated on the other end of the room. Something about him... something about him was commanding his full focus and it was making his gut crawl. Or were those butterflies? He had no idea what the feeling was, but all of a sudden it was as if the air was stolen from his lungs. What was going on?

WHAT Cole actually does fuck off during A Witches' Tail and goes on to be a successful lawyer in the Big Apple, vanquishing evil at is appears and saving innocents in the courtroom. Chris never fully died after Gideon stabbed him and now he lives in New York trying to balance being half-ghost with life in the big city until he can present himself to his family again.
WHEN Late 2005.
WHERE New York City, New York, USA.
WHY So Leo can be a slightly-less terrible dad for baby Chris.

This guy was really starting to piss Chris off. He had taken to shimmering only blocks away, close enough to sense but far enough that Chris couldn't hear where he had reappeared, and was practically leading him somewhere. It wasn't very cool considering the demon had already gotten away with killing two witches and seemed to be playing fun with his ghostly stalker before moving on to the third. Chris really wasn't planning on letting that happen.

He turned an alley and found himself surprised to see the demon was cornered by someone else now. How had anyone else gotten here so quickly and not tripped his magical/ghostly sense? Was this guy just some poor sap who had stumbled upon a demon making his meandering escape?

Chris stepped forward, waving his arm widely. "Hey, get out of here! It's not safe!" he called. It alerted the demon to his own presence, but hell if he was going to let an innocent get caught in this crossfire. No way, not after already losing two witches to this asshole.

WHO Chris Halliwell ([personal profile] misconceived), Cole Turner ([personal profile] devilsinthedetails).
WHAT In a universe where Chris is the son of Phoebe and Cole, his father has had enough hints dropped to maybe piece things together. Now he's going to go prove it.
WHEN Sometime after 6x12: Prince Charmed.
WHERE Back room at P3.
WHY Because Leo would make a terrible father.

To say that Chris was exhausted would probably be an understatement. Oh, physically he was passing by just fine, but ever since the sisters had more or less evicted him from the manor, things had been going pretty harshly. He should have known they wouldn't believe him about Wyatt, yet he had hoped that perhaps could have squirmed around it. Messing with Piper's birthday man at the same time probably only made it worse. They had never really trusted him so he wasn't quite sure why it hurt him or surprised him so much, especially after so many months of living mired in their suspicion.

Either way, all that meant was that Chris was on his own on following his leads until he could get back into the girls' neutral graces again. That meant making careful steps and not expecting backup, which also meant he needed to take care of himself and make sure he could at least work without collapsing in the middle of meeting with any of his informants. Demons sure did love it when you bared your weak little throat like that to them.

With a quiet scoff to himself, Chris entered his room at P3, nothing more than a converted storage/office to hold a cot in it, then stopped utterly short when he noticed that he wasn't alone. Brief flashbacks of Bianca waiting for him stuttered through his mind, overlaying that image with his new intruder. "Cole?" he asked. "What are you doing here?"
