It was probably a poor, spur of the moment decision that had led Peter into calling Robin. He had been perfectly honest with himself when he'd tucked the card away under his mattress and determined not to think of it again, too wrapped up in his own problems to think of inconveniencing such a wonderful, gorgeous woman no matter the offer that was extended. He had his friends, he had himself, he could totally deal with the times when his brain decided to shut off his common sense for a few hours... or days...

But then he broke a dish while he had been cleaning it, stepped right in the glass, and it didn't quite seem like a bad idea to keep stepping in it, maybe pick it up and see how far it could go until he couldn't hold back a noise. When he caught himself in that spiral, Peter retreated to pluck out what bits he could from his foot and bandage it while his thoughts kept whirling around in a tizzy. He'd had the card in his hand and flipped over, phone out and dialing before he had even registered it.

"Hi, um, Ms. Blake? A-about that offer at the party... Oh, uh, I'm at 87 Surrey Hill Drive. Okay."

That was that. She was already on her way before he could even think to regret it. Now he was a bundle of nerves and pacing by the door on a clean but still-injured foot to focus himself. She was going to see him as a wreck, but probably better to see her in person and convince her it had been a mistake to call than just call her right back and plead with her not to come. That would seem desperate, right?

Peter responded to the kiss in kind, taking in the glow of Robin's happiness to fuel his own. It was like a feedback loop of positive thoughts and something he had almost forgotten about entirely. The knot was so close to getting tugged free, it was like seeing the wind blow across the horizon and waiting for the fresh breeze to refresh you. All Peter had to do now was make sure it didn't pass him by.

"My bedroom?" he asked, blinking a few times. His thumb, the one at her neck, started to stroke slowly while he thought about that. "Down the hall... it's at the back of the house. Did... do you want to—sleep? With me?"

Keeping Peter calm and happy was her main goal right now and she didn't really want to rock the boat much. The question she asked was something that would rock it, of course, but she could steady it no problem despite the question he asked in return. "I wasn't planning on it," she answered honestly. She would sleep with him if he wanted, but she hadn't planned on doing so without him asking for it. "I just wanted us to move to the bed because it would be less cramped than the couch."

As she spoke, she carefully moved off of Peter's lap and slowly placed his injured foot back down. Once standing, she reached down and grabbed Peter's hands, smiling at him as she did. "Come on, the quicker we move, the quicker we'll be back together again."

"Oh. Okay. Bed isn't too big," Peter replied doubtfully. It wasn't exactly the most comfortable thing in the world, either, but neither was his couch. His whole house was definitely the product of bits and bobs collected over his college years tossed into the cheapest rent in the area for someone currently still looking for employment.

When Peter stood at Robin's urging, his leg twitched but for the pressure on the cuts but he hardly felt a twinge. He would have moved, wrapped his arms around her and held her close, except that she already had his hands and seemed well and good with the way she was handling it. It was pretty nice, actually, just being able to go with her flow and let his brain start to shut down instead. "Then let's go? It's that way," he added, making a vague gesture off in the proper direction considering Robin still held his hands.

"If that's the case, then we'll have to cuddle up close," Robin responded with amusement. She had slept in many a cramped and uncomfortable bed over her lifetime before she was a billionaire CEO. The thought of having to lie together close with Peter didn't even make her blink. As a Dom, she loved any sort of contact with a sub and took any excuse to be tactile with him, so she thought that the bed would be perfect for that.

Letting go of one of his hands, she moved to stand beside him, giving his hand a little squeeze of affection. The hand still holding his was the one her bracelet previously sat on, her dominant hand and one of the few social cues that someone who knew the culture would know and something Peter wouldn't be able to get quite yet. Giving him a kiss on the cheek she looked at him and gave him yet another smile. "Lead the way, then."

It was easy to show her the way. Peter walked ahead, hand holding hers tightly, though he paused at the doorless entrance to the kitchen. His weight had settled on his injured foot and he could feel a line of tension making its way through him. He looked inside for a moment, saw the shattered glass and some of the blood that had gotten out before he had really realized what was happening, and shuffled away quickly. He didn't want Robin to see that.

"Kinda messy," he mumbled instead. Whether he was talking about the kitchen or his bedroom was unclear. His bedroom wasn't any kind of paragon of cleanliness, but most of the dirty clothes were in the hamper and nothing gave of the smell of dead things, so it was probably a step above plenty of other bachelor pads. His bed was tucked away in the corner, nothing special aside from one of the sheets being filled with childish stars and moons and didn't match the rest of the carefully faceless bedding at all. "This is it. Nothing fancy. Don't usually bring girls here..."

If she noticed the glass and blood when passing by the kitchen, she didn't say anything or draw attention to it. Instead, she just followed his lead through the house into the bedroom. There was no judgment made on the room or anything in it and she tugged on Peter's hand gently before leading him in and sitting down on the bed.

"I'll take that as an honor then," she said as she smiled and patted the bed beside her. She was glad that he didn't seem to be freaking out and instead was going towards awkward. Honestly, Robin thought it was cute. "Get on the bed and we can keep going."

Peter sat down next to her, leaning his shoulder toward her without much conscious thought, and gave a self-depreciating smile at the comment. "Not really an honor, just not many girls to bring," he admitted. "I don't—I'm not the—I'm not that guy, you know? One who's got girls from every angle or... or—this isn't usually my thing."

He could feel it, the blush starting to spread up his neck and ears. Whatever calming magic Robin had worked was helping, but it was also beginning to waver and ebb and he felt a little lost while he sat on the precipice. "Keep going with... with the—?" Making a vague gesture, he simply didn't continue. It was hard to say what Robin had been doing, because Peter wasn't sure nor did he understand how it was helping so much. No matter how right it actually felt, he wasn't sure what was happening in the first place.

"That's what makes it an honor, Peter," she answered easily. The more she spoke to him, the cuter he seemed to get and Robin genuinely liked that. Her type usually ended up in a struggle for control because she was a woman, but this time it wasn't about that at all. He had been afraid of what could possibly happen and that was something to overcome in a completely different way.

"Keep going with this," Robin said before she kissed him, hand reaching up to cup his face as she did. She could tell things were wavering and she was going to put them back on the right track. He deserved it after what he had been dealing with for so long.

Peter reacted to the kiss well, leaning into it and participating as if he hadn't just been fighting with her in the living room over whether he needed help or not. This felt... natural, ceding the power and letting her take her own pace in what she wanted to do. It was confusing, but his instincts seemed to have grasped some of the subtleties he was missing entirely and he was beginning to let himself fall into those instead.

Although there was more space between them now than there had been, Peter didn't really seem to notice. One hand was held in hers and the other moved to her waist while he shifted to have a better angle with her. His grip was firm and steady, but not powerful or demanding, simply wanting to be there with her. He moaned, quiet, as he felt himself slip deeper down into that calm water somewhere in his mind.

It was good that he reacted well to the kiss because she liked kissing him and it was one of the easier ways to make someone give up control. Not that control was much of a problem now that Peter's instincts were caught up to what she wanted to do with him. This helped her out in the end and she didn't have to force herself to really dominate, this time needing only her natural dominance to hold herself over Peter.

Moving herself a little to help the angle, she tried closing the space between them more. She relished the contact and always strived for more. At the moan, she made a little noise in her throat, trying to urge him on to do more. She might already like him, but she was definitely going to try and urge him on to show off a little bit for her in whatever way his instincts would drive him towards.

There was a definite neediness to the kiss the longer it lasted. Peter didn't want to let this go, this attention and affection and everything being just between them. Everything was just them. His fears and anxieties made themselves known as he squirmed, meeting her halfway and almost refusing to breathe when he got the moment, he was so desperate for something to cling onto.

He moaned again at Robin's noise, something longer and deeper and raw. His hand wandered from her waist up to her back, settled in between her shoulder blades where his thumb started to make idle circles. It felt good and he wanted her to feel good, too, that he wasn't the only one getting something out of this because he was definitely getting something out of this. He tilted his head, trying to deepen the kiss while simultaneously showing off his neck, the bare skin along his throat, whatever vulnerability Robin wanted, she could have. If she didn't let him fall, Peter was more than willing to give her everything in return.

Something inside her seemed to snap at the moan and she was more forceful and controlling with the kissing, swallowing up whatever noises he made with glee. Her hands moved, one to his waist where it moved up under his shirt to explore his chest and torso while the other gripped his shoulder firmly, almost like she was trying to decide what she wanted to do with him next.

The choice was made for her when he exposed his neck to her. Breaking away from the kiss, she moved to attack his neck, kissing and sucking on the sensitive skin while the hand under his shirt curled slightly and she pulled it down to the top of his pants, scratching his skin lightly before moving up to his other shoulder as she pushed him back onto the bed and moved on top him, holding him down so that she could resume kissing him.

Skin on skin, lips on his neck, and Peter was beginning to sink into something wonderful. He had almost considered complaining when Robin broke the kiss, but now it had become something even more and somehow it felt better than anything else she was doing. He'd never known his neck was this sensitive, inspiring a shudder down his entire body while he wrapped his arms around her back to keep her close.

"Robin," he mumbled, no more than a breath, words being stolen from him the longer she kept at his throat. It felt like coming home somehow, the breathlessness and the warm needles spreading throughout his nerves, her ministrations leaving him to turn into goo under her hands. He tightened his hold around her, head twisting to expose different parts of his neck and give her new ground to treat. "Robin, you're..." Peter couldn't keep going, trailing into pleased hums and other sounds that were soon swallowed by another kiss that he met with eager anticipation. It was blowing his mind, actually, leaving him not much but a shell riding on the waves. It was the best he had ever remembered feeling and it had taken so little of her touch to get him there. She was amazing. Utterly, mindblowingly amazing.

Good, he was responding to her like a proper sub should. That was always the best part, when the sub submitted to her and became hers to love and protect. She hummed softly into the kiss, a sign of approval at him responding to her so well. Subs loved getting feedback from their Doms and she would indulge her new sub so he knew how to respond properly in the future.

She ended the kiss again, this time to nuzzle his cheek and lie on top of him, keeping him pinned with her whole body now. One hand went to stroke his hair while watched him. "You're a good sub," she crooned softly, her voice pitched just right to get the best reaction from him. "You liked when I give your neck attention, don't you?" As she said that, her hand went from his hair to running her fingers along the front of his neck, the most vulnerable part.

When Robin laid on top of him, Peter shifted his arms so that he could cradle the back of her head with one while the other took a possessive grip around her waist. Although he wasn't in the dominant position at all, she was just as much his now that he was hers and he would be loathe to let Robin go at all. Every little piece of positive reinforcement did wonders to buoy him.

He hummed inaudibly at the hand teasing along his neck. He did, he really did like it when she focused on his neck. Never before had he realized just what an amazing spot it was on himself. It only furthered his appreciation for Robin that she had drawn it out so effortlessly, found something about him that he hadn't even considered. "Mm, yes," he hummed, head tilting back to give her better access once again.

She has had time to learn how to make subs happy and was definitely using her knowledge for Peter's needs. There was not a bad reaction to the movement of his hands, instead she seemed pleased by the show of possessiveness towards her. In this moment, they belonged to each other and being possessive only seemed right. It wasn't a sign of dominance, so she wasn't threatened by it at all.

When he gave her access to his neck again, she went back to planting kisses all over the exposed skin while her fingers moved to the side of his neck to pet him. "It's the most sensitive spot on a sub," she explained between kisses, wanting to teach him even though she knew in this state it wouldn't really stick. "Very vulnerable. That you're exposing it for me is proof that you've submitted to me and trust me to protect you."

Peter groaned out loud when Robin resumed her attention to his neck, his throat, his whole body squirming to try and enhance the feeling. Even the tickle of her breath while she spoke between her kisses was something else, another dimension away from anything bad that could possibly happen. How could anything be unsafe when there was this right here and now?

The hand at her head curled, fingers beginning to card through her soft hair. It was a reactionary motion of trying to meet her even part of the way for all that she was doing for him. He heard her saying something, only partially understood it, but he knew that it was good and that he was doing something right. She wanted that from him. "Protect me," he repeated, trying to show that he was listening without knowing what it was that he was even saying.

His groan only encouraged her to do more to his neck, now licking patches of skin and then breathing gently on the licked skin to add more sensations beyond just being kissed. She was glad to have shown Peter just how good it was for a sub to have his neck given attention of any sort and she was enjoying that he liked it.

With the way he was going on, she would have been content even if he had decided to do nothing, but she appreciated the fingers in her hair, humming gently against his neck at the attention she was getting. He was a good sub just on instinct, which meant he was definitely going to be something once he learned about being a sub in general. After he spoke, she pulled away from his neck for a moment to kiss him on the lips, a gentle peck before returning to his neck to lick a stripe right up the middle from the top of his chest to where his neck met his jaw. "Always," she murmured into his skin, not really focusing on anything but the words he said and not why he said them. She was his Dom. She would always protect him.

There was no breath to be wasted here, not when Robin was so intent at pulling every frayed string until Peter was nothing but thread for her to make into whatever she liked. He could do nothing, wanted nothing more than to let her do what she pleased while taking care of him. Every new sensation earned a hitch in his breathing, a shudder down his frame, something and everything while he gave no thought to hiding his reactions. She was pulling them out for herself, and he didn't dare try to keep them from her.

Soon, Peter started to murmur nonsense. He didn't even know what he was trying to say, just making noises of contentment and pleasure and trying to express it even if words had completely failed him. His hand never truly stopped in her hair, although it faltered and changed paces with everything new that Robin did, it seemed that the rhythm was all a part of the experience for him, too.

She couldn't help but smile when she saw him falling apart because of what she was doing to him. Her new sub was wonderful, but she knew he was only working on instincts and she wanted to do more than just make him fall apart. She wanted to make sure that he'd be able to pick up her cues when she really started to Dom him instead of this soft attempt she did to help him out.

Stopping her kissing and licking, she started to hum, the pitch very different than what she had done previously. Instead of praise and acceptance, it was almost an order to submit to her. She didn't give him any other cues of the physical type, her body still draped onto his and her hand still petting his neck. For her, vocal cues were important and she wanted to make sure her sub's instincts were good enough to pick up on what she wants and would react to it properly.

With all of the experiences Peter had gone through in the last few years, his instincts had been honed to a fine edge. In desperation to stave off the dangerous tendencies his thoughts could fall trap to, he had learned to react to the hollow instances of normal interplay between himself, friends and family, using everyday situations to slowly stop up the gap of his slowly-escaping sanity. It had been a long time of fooling himself and coasting by on fumes whereas now Robin was giving him signals that might as well have been shouted through a megaphone.

His reaction wasn't anything conscious, nothing Peter would have made note of were he in a more balanced state of mind, but right now the intonation was crystal clear. At the tone asking him to give in to her, he let his hands still and pull away from here to wait by his head, chin tipping back to maintain access to his neck. In the moment then, he caught his breath and made a nonsense noise in response, letting himself float while Robin would decide what to do next.

Once Peter responded to her cue, she looked at him approvingly. His instincts were in fine form physically, but his vocal responses could do with some work. She was surprisingly quiet for a Dom, preferring to let her sub tell her what he wants instead of forcing him one way or the other unless her sub is lost in the feeling and she has to control things for them. Her silence also helped her focus on her sub's responses instead of her own, which weren't as important in the long run unless to communicate with her sub on whether or not he was doing good.

She hummed again, this one first pitched up in approval before adjusting to an urging to respond in kind towards her. He had his fun for right now, but now she was going to teach him to respond better so that they could be in sync. That was its own kind of fun, especially since she was going to be rewarding him not only in verbal praise and approval, but also in kisses on his perfectly exposed neck.

Robin's lack of general noise didn't bother Peter. It was part and parcel and he didn't know to expect anything different; the way she was conducting herself now was rather perfect for him, as he wasn't all that noisy of a person in the first place. It helped him to stay in the moment to only hear things that were inspired in the moment. He liked that, just like he liked everything else. Making his own noises beyond what came naturally was not something he even thought to do; it was physical action that provoked reaction rather than trying respond to movements with his voice.

At her nudge, the idea of reciprocation, Peter didn't know how to respond. He brows twitched together, fingers curling before he tilted his head back down enough to look at her to see if there were any other cues he was missing. He breathed out a questioning noise, one hand hesitantly going back to her hair. Like this maybe?

Right now, she had made it her duty to teach him how to respond properly in a vocal manner so even if they were in the middle of subspace and unable to really discuss what they wanted, there would be some communication. For somebody who had no experience with D/s culture, she knew it was difficult for him to grasp and she would have to take her time making sure he got it down right.

She huffed in amusement before she kissed his cheek. "No, use your voice to respond to me," she explained, her voice pitched just right to convey understanding and love. There was sign that she was frustrated because she honestly didn't have any. After all, why would she be frustrated with her sub?

"Voice," Peter murmured. He let the word rattle around for a moment while he basked in the tone she was conveying. There had been a no in there, but it wasn't admonishment and that only made him more eager to figure out how to get a yes instead. His hand pulled back again, returned to the position he had been in before, trying to reset what he had done wrong. He hummed for a moment, a toneless noise trying to kickstart his brain into reacting properly.

Use his voice to respond to her. Use his voice... Yeah, okay, he could do that. "Okay. My voice," he said, sounding a little more coherent but no less content. There was no danger here, just her attentiveness and comfort. "Yeah? Good?"
