It was probably a poor, spur of the moment decision that had led Peter into calling Robin. He had been perfectly honest with himself when he'd tucked the card away under his mattress and determined not to think of it again, too wrapped up in his own problems to think of inconveniencing such a wonderful, gorgeous woman no matter the offer that was extended. He had his friends, he had himself, he could totally deal with the times when his brain decided to shut off his common sense for a few hours... or days...

But then he broke a dish while he had been cleaning it, stepped right in the glass, and it didn't quite seem like a bad idea to keep stepping in it, maybe pick it up and see how far it could go until he couldn't hold back a noise. When he caught himself in that spiral, Peter retreated to pluck out what bits he could from his foot and bandage it while his thoughts kept whirling around in a tizzy. He'd had the card in his hand and flipped over, phone out and dialing before he had even registered it.

"Hi, um, Ms. Blake? A-about that offer at the party... Oh, uh, I'm at 87 Surrey Hill Drive. Okay."

That was that. She was already on her way before he could even think to regret it. Now he was a bundle of nerves and pacing by the door on a clean but still-injured foot to focus himself. She was going to see him as a wreck, but probably better to see her in person and convince her it had been a mistake to call than just call her right back and plead with her not to come. That would seem desperate, right?

When she placed herself against his side, Peter moved his arm automatically around her back to hold her even closer and nuzzle just a bit until he was comfortable. Everything was edged with soft and beautiful, and he didn't want to move an inch while he was full of so much.

"Pet?" he asked, a murmured question. There were no qualms, he had no intention of fighting any decision his Dom would make, but he was curious. Was that better or worse than being her sub? He had done his best, so he hoped for good.

Thankfully for him, she had no plans to move him nor move herself. Right there was fine for what she wanted to do next and to be perfectly honest, she didn't even want to move. Her sub was there and happy and snuggled with her. There was absolutely no desire to change anything that could interrupt that.

"Yes, pet. Every Dom and sub couple have roles that they play in a scene, so in this case, not only are you my sub, but more specifically you're to be my pet," she explained calmly. It was time for her to teach him some more and she was okay with that. The more he learned now, the less she had to worry about it in the future. "And as to what I'll be to you, I'll be your Madame. You're to call me that instead of my name. Do you think you can do that?"

Peter hummed as he considered the idea. If being her pet was something more than being her sub, then he would do it happily. If she was to be his Madame, then he would definitely be able to adapt. The whole idea was a bit foreign to him, but he had little doubt that it would make more sense once it was put more concretely into place.

"Madame," he repeated with a smile to his voice. She would be his Robin, his Madame, anything she wanted to be. That would be easy. "Absolutely."

"Good boy," she said with a small amount of pride, petting his hair affectionately at his response. Best to start off with something nice and simple instead of being complicated early on. She'll teach him slow and make sure nothing overwhelms him too much before he gets accustomed to how things work. "I'll help you figure things out. In the meantime, rest and let your mind and body accept being owned completely for the first time in your life."

Once she finished speaking, she made herself comfortable and rested her head on his shoulder. This always took a lot out of her and she imagine it did the same to Peter. They'd deal with everything else later and for now, they'd just take the chance to cuddle together and rest.

They stayed like that for a while. Resting, basking, simply solidifying their experience in the silence stretched between them. It didn't last forever, however, and soon they were out of the scene and sitting at the kitchen counter to make some dinner while their heads cleared.

Peter wasn't quite sure how to feel about the whole thing. Of course, it had been amazing and coming out of it had been like waking up from some of the most restful sleep he'd never had, yet the fact that it had come about with no premeditation was bothering him. Their power was already at a severe lack of balance once they started their scenes, but before that shouldn't be the same.

Bringing it up was going to be the hard part.

"S-so, um, Robin," he started. Was he supposed to use her name like usual? Whatever, she'd correct him for that if she cared about it. "Right. About when I got here... That—that wasn't good. I don't think it was."

Thankfully, Robin had decided to get dressed once the idea of making dinner had come up, wearing a long shirt and sweatpants to cover herself up. Her attention was more on what they were going to eat because she didn't really want to give him anything he wouldn't like. This was one of the things she hated about ending up with someone new. They had to get past that awkward phase where they didn't really know much about each other, especially after she's been married for the past ten years. Oh well, she'd learn to deal with it and figure out everything she could about Peter.

When Peter spoke, her attention turned from the topic of food back to him and she appeared to be thoughtful about what he was saying. "What part didn't you like exactly?" She definitely knew where her first thought went to, but she didn't know if it was the same one as Peter. Might as well bring it up. "Was it the shirt? Because I truly am sorry about ripping it to pieces."

"The shirt?" Peter repeated, incredulous for how that was her first thought. It took him a moment to process that, and then he shook his head. "No, it's not about the—well yes, it partially is. I liked that shirt. But no, what I meant was the... the assault at the door." At some point he had begun gesturing, not entirely sure where he was going and trying to make up for that by putting his body into it.

Despite his shirt no longer being in a wearable state, Peter had at least gotten his pants back and that was enough for him up until he needed to leave. He would figure something out. However, his biggest concern was not what he would eat (he wasn't exactly picky), but if Robin realized how wrong it was to pull him down into subspace without his permission. It was a lovely place, granted, but it was vulnerable and he wanted to be in charge of when he would get there.

"Ah yes, that," Robin said simply as she let out a sigh. It wasn't an unexpected response to what she did and part of her was expecting to deal with it. She had just been hoping that he would have waited until after dinner. Honestly, it didn't bother her to deal with it now, she just doesn't like to explain things in that cranky state between coming out of an intense scene and eating. "I would like to state for the record that I don't normally assault my subs out of nowhere. I do have a reason for what I did though."

She leaned against the counter and looked up at him, making the height difference between them bigger. It was easier to deal with subs out of scene with her trying to remove some of that presence she naturally had to keep him from being too drawn up in it to be able to stand as her equal. "I am aware of the fact that you thought what happened between us was a one time deal and that you believed that you needed to look elsewhere. I also know that if I had just told you that I wanted this to be more permanent, you wouldn't have believed me. So I took the only option available to me and hit you over the head with it as hard as I could."

Yes, that had Peter frowning to himself while Robin seemed to draw into herself while she explained. Although his reaction wasn't conscious, it certainly did help to keep Peter from cowing at her naturally intimidating tendencies. He could feel some heat rising up his neck as she accurately pinned down how he had been going into the whole deal, the idea that they weren't going to last and his own doubts. It was almost funny how easy he must have been to read.

"You couldn't have just said... let me show you something?" he asked. It had definitely worked; after all of that unprompted claiming and marking, Peter was fairly sure now that she intended for him to stick around. Not that it would be easy to do that, but one point at a time.

There was a slight smile at seeing him respond to her words. It was only obvious to somebody who was good at reading people like she was, but she wasn't going to let him know that. She wanted to keep him on his toes and watch not only how he reacted to things, but how he responded to outside influences. Which she was definitely going to work with him on because he really shouldn't be falling over himself when seeing her naked.

"From what I remember, I doubt you would have really even noticed if I had said anything along those lines," she pointed out calmly as she looked at him. "You really were quite distracted by my bathrobe and then lack of one to the point where you weren't really listening to what I was saying."

That heat was just not going to go away and he was definitely blushing now. Dammit, Peter wasn't some inexperienced virgin but Robin had a way of commanding such a presence that he wasn't used to facing full force. It wasn't his fault he had never met anyone as strong and take charge as her before, how was he supposed to deal with her utter lack of shame?

Peter cleared his throat. "That's... well, that's kind of my point. You could have been clothed! Or, you know, not... immediately provocative... or something like that."

Her smile only grew as he started to blush. It was really kind of cute seeing him getting so worked up over this. She was gonna have to teach him how to get used to her so he didn't freak out over everything she did. Until then, she was going to take any chance to make him blush like this.

"I had just gotten out of the shower before you arrived," she explained. "So I didn't have time to get dressed. Besides, I was brushing my hair and I'm not getting my clothes wet just so my hair isn't a mess."

"You knew I was coming," Peter said, a bit taken aback. Taking a shower was all well and good but that had most definitely been deliberate. She'd been the one to set the place and the time and all of that had been well within her control. She definitely seemed like the type to have had it planned down to the moment Peter arrived.

His hand went up to brush at one of the marks forming on his neck. "You planned it, right?"

There was a long moment before she decided to speak, not thinking so much as studying him and his response. He was definitely a smart one and definitely someone who needed his own control outside of the scene. It was going to be fun playing with him from now on without pushing him too far when they weren't in a scene together. That was a challenge and she was quite fond of challenges.

"Did I plan it? Yes, I did. Is there a problem with that?" Despite them not being in a scene, she pitched her tone in just a way to make her sound innocent of whatever he thought she was guilty of. "Or is there a point you'd like to make?"

"Um, the same one as I've been making," Peter said after a moment. At least she admitted it, because that was going to make it easier going forward if anything like this happened again. He was going to have to work on being so easily flustered... but, being fair to himself, he wasn't exactly prepared for anything that Robin might throw at him.

"You know, where you assaulted me after throwing me off guard and all that," he continued quickly. It was weird to say but he was going to say it. He had already started digging, what was another few feet to the hole?

"And as I said before, what I did was the only option I had at the time to make you actually realize what I wanted," she said as she reached out and touched his neck gently. This was something she was going to deal with now and if he was going to keep pushing the subject, then she was going to play a little dirty.

"This way was only a one time deal. For anything going forward, I would need your express permission to start," Robin pointed out, still as calm as she always is. "It keeps the relationship from being too off-balance."

Peter swallowed compulsively at the hand on his neck. It sent up a flutter in his stomach and he looked up at her with a mix of uncertainty and adoration. It was hard to tamp down on the seemingly-natural instincts of reacting to his Dom's possessive touch. Of all the spots on his body, sensitive and vulnerable as they might have been, this was the big one that he was quickly learning would need to be handled with care.

"Because... that's not the point," Peter ventured. It wasn't anything that he knew to be true, it was more based on instinct telling him that there was some sort of compromise to be struck between the two extremes that they presented. They worked together, didn't simply dominate and submit like there was nowhere to meet in the middle. With a bit of a wry twist to his lips, he asked, "Can I get that in writing?"

Seeing Peter react to her touch amused her and made her smile softly. It was definitely a good reaction to get from that simple touch and she withdrew her hand, pulling herself back to look less like a Dom so that she didn't pressure Peter into responding like a sub would. The time for them to respond in their roles was up to him and she really wouldn't push it while he was upset with her.

"I could think of a better way of making it stick," she responded coyly, leaning her head onto the countertop. This was going to be a long conversation if she let it play out, but she wasn't in the mood for an extended conversation right now. She was hungry and wanted to eat. "Are we okay? Or do you want me to get down on my knees and beg for you to forgive me for miscalculating how you wanted things to go."

With her hand no longer on his neck, Peter took a deep breath. He watched her, not wary but definitely uncertain of where every step that he took was going to take him. He liked her a lot but the problem was indeed that they didn't know very much about each other at this point and that Peter knew even less about his own preferences that it felt like he was walking through a swamp with every foot forward. That didn't mean it wasn't worth it, just that he couldn't imagine having been able to handle this even a few weeks ago.

He huffed, definitely flustered at the offer she presented. Something about the idea of Robin Blake on her knees just did not parse in his head. "Now you're just teasing me," he said with a tone almost like petulance.

It probably wasn't helping things that Robin was shaking everything up with her words and doing her best to throw Peter into the deep end without really any sort of lifeline. Even now, she was still testing him, seeing his responses and filing away the information so that they wouldn't have any problems from now on. That was what a Dom was supposed to do, learn about their sub and cater to what they really wanted.

"I don't tease about this sort of thing," she responded honestly and moved off her seat to get down on her knees. Once down there, she looked up at him and smiled widely, looking very happy to be on her knees for him. "Would you like me to beg now?"

For someone who had gotten very used to the status quo and maintaining it, shaking things up were about the only way to pry anything new loose from Peter. This entire thing was new to him, but there were familiarities he could easily maintain and that was what he had been doing. Of course, that was part of a new relationship, too: making something new out of something old and comfortable.

As Robin actually knelt down on the floor in front of him, Peter could do nothing but gape in response. That wasn't right, not right at all, it was something like a rush of excitement and confusion and he reached out halfway to her before he pulled back and his head tilted almost like a particularly confused canine. "Do... but... you're kneeling," he said. So, it wasn't a tease and he had called her bluff. That she would be willing to drop away that pride for him... why was he feeling proud and possessive about that? "You shouldn't be kneeling. Right?"

"I shouldn't?" There was a question in her voice as she said that, looking up at him in a way that seemed to erase all signs of dominance from her. She leaned back onto her legs to expose her front in an almost submissive way as she bared her neck for him. "Is that how you feel or how you think it should be?"

Robin wasn't a switch, but instead merely imitating what a sub would do. It was useful in a situation like this and might be a way to get past the issues he was having with the imbalance of their relationship and it was definitely a relationship they had now. He was hers and she wasn't going to let him go now that she had him.

Her continued subservient movements had Peter drawing his brows together. Her question was an astute one and he had to really give it some thought. She was his Dom and he was her sub, but did that really mean it was all they could be together? Peter hoped not and it seemed that Robin's show of submission was meant to portray the same idea; he certainly didn't feel unsettled by it in his gut, just up in his head where things were turning out to be very uninformed. His gut had been making the better choices recently.

"I... I guess how I think," he said, carefully. Tentatively, he reached out to brush his fingers against her neck. His hand soon shifted to grasp lightly around the side and stroke at her pulse point. "It doesn't feel wrong, it... it just feels like it should be. That's stupid, isn't it?"

When she felt his fingers against her neck, she let out a soft sigh. The neck wasn't as much of a sensitive spot for her as it was for Peter, but it was definitely something she enjoyed immensely. Once it changed to him stroking her neck, her eyes half closed and she hummed contently. She could stay here for a while, just letting Peter do this, but he was responding to her question and she had to focus on that instead of his petting.

"It's not stupid at all," she said easily, her attention still split between Peter's hand and his words. "What you know of our culture is from movies and humanity's pop culture as a whole, which means you don't know how things work for real. You might not realize it yet, but we're just as equal as any other relationship. Once you experience more, you'll learn and I'll be there to help you every step of the way."

Noticing the split of focus, Peter slowed his motion and tried to help her keep her attention on the conversation. It was something he would rather like an answer to even if he really was enjoying that he could elicit such a reaction from her so simply. It was fascinating and warming. They hardly knew each other but she was trusting him with this much and that meant more than she might have known.

"That's kind of hard to imagine," he admitted, hand finally stilling without moving away. "I mean, it's... pretty popular to put the Dom in complete control and have the sub just happy to take whatever. Which is pretty weird. Never understood it. Now here I am and... I still don't really understand. I should probably understand by now."
