It was probably a poor, spur of the moment decision that had led Peter into calling Robin. He had been perfectly honest with himself when he'd tucked the card away under his mattress and determined not to think of it again, too wrapped up in his own problems to think of inconveniencing such a wonderful, gorgeous woman no matter the offer that was extended. He had his friends, he had himself, he could totally deal with the times when his brain decided to shut off his common sense for a few hours... or days...

But then he broke a dish while he had been cleaning it, stepped right in the glass, and it didn't quite seem like a bad idea to keep stepping in it, maybe pick it up and see how far it could go until he couldn't hold back a noise. When he caught himself in that spiral, Peter retreated to pluck out what bits he could from his foot and bandage it while his thoughts kept whirling around in a tizzy. He'd had the card in his hand and flipped over, phone out and dialing before he had even registered it.

"Hi, um, Ms. Blake? A-about that offer at the party... Oh, uh, I'm at 87 Surrey Hill Drive. Okay."

That was that. She was already on her way before he could even think to regret it. Now he was a bundle of nerves and pacing by the door on a clean but still-injured foot to focus himself. She was going to see him as a wreck, but probably better to see her in person and convince her it had been a mistake to call than just call her right back and plead with her not to come. That would seem desperate, right?

Peter did indeed try to wriggle and move in automatic reaction to being pulled across her legs. It was all rather mystifying to him and he couldn't possibly figure out what Robin was doing until his pants were pulled down around his legs and she outright spanked him. He jolted, hands going to grab at whatever was available in the space of the car and his awkward position while it reverberated through him.

It imparted some kind of weird clarity for the moment and he took a sharp breath in. Punishment. That was what she was doing. Robin was literally punishing Peter for assuming something so terrible about her intentions and he really had no grounds to deny it. There were, perhaps, more civil ways to go about it but getting back to basics would be the most effective way of getting down to the core. Peter swallowed nervously and his head dipped down, forehead pressed to the seat.

"Yes," he said. "Y-yes, this is what I get."

The best way isn't always the civil way and Robin knows well enough that sometimes the civil way isn't enough for people like them to really have it sink in, so of course she's going to skip it to get right to the point. Her anger is controlling her actions at the moment, which means things are definitely going to be rough until she calms down. Peter's response to the first slap is a step in the right direction and she hits him again just as hard.

"That's what you get because you should know better. You're my boyfriend," she emphasized with a hard slap. Then as she spoke more, she kept hitting him after each point as if to make sure he got it. "To me, you're just as equal to my husband. You're not just some boytoy I have on the side to fuck whenever I feel like it. If I want to go out on a date with you, it's because I love you and want to spend time with you. I'm not doing it to bribe you into silence and make you more willing to sleep with me."

Every slap was another reverberation rolling up his spine. Each point delivered straight up to his brain and lodged in tight. His throat had closed up somewhere in the middle at because I love you and his world had narrowed even before that. He couldn't even explain what was happening, taking the punishment and feeling almost gratified that Robin cared enough to not break away and leave him behind, thankful that she was doing something to straight out what Peter had left askew.

His breaths were coming in heavy, he could feel a small tremble beginning to work into his limbs. He had fucked up big time missing something like this, and taking the licks now felt like settling something in his mind. He was learning from it with every word Robin spoke, every spank he felt solidifying the mistake so he could move past it.

"Harder." This was good, but... but he needed to feel it more. It had to be more real. He needed to make sure the point would stay with him and the punishment didn't seem harsh enough in comparison to the misdemeanor. "Please."

There was a bit of a smirk on her face when she heard him ask to be hit harder. With the way her mind was right now, she wasn't focusing so much on Peter's physical response so much as the words he used. She does do what he asked and starts to hit him harder, making sure he can feel it and will definitely be feeling it for a while after they're done.

"It's starting to sink in, isn't it? You finally get what you are to me," she said as she kept smacking him, making sure that she didn't lessen the impacts any so that she knew that he'd keep himself focused on this instead of anything else. "You're important to me and I'm going to make sure you know it by the time I take you home."

Harder, more painful, more purpose behind it. It helped. Peter grunted as Robin kept going, her point hammering home more strongly than before. He felt it build up, every slap adding onto the other before it could disappear and working its way to claw around his brain. This was right, and he needed every bit of focus the punishment was bringing in order to place his attention solely on Robin. She needed him to listen, to take it to heart, and he would. Peter would do anything to make sure that he would.

It was like falling into a rhythm. Her words were a metronome and each punctuation had him repeating her point like a mantra until the next one struck home. His head still wouldn't quite wrap around the idea, that Robin loved him as equal as her husband and this wasn't just something they were doing for her entertainment or fulfillment. She cared about him and slowly she would make him understand.

It was turning from punishment into just hurting him after a while. Robin was hitting him harder than before and had stopped talking, her concentration all on hurting him. She wanted him to know just how much he pain he caused her by thinking that she thought so little of him, even if the physical pain couldn't match the emotional pain she felt right now. It would have to be enough until she calmed herself down enough to talk to him rationally.

She didn't stop slapping him until his skin was red and sore and probably going to be painful for quite a while. Once she was done, she used her other hand to grab his hair and yank it back sharply so that she could see his face. "You know what you did now, don't you?" Her voice was wavering slightly. Hitting him didn't really seem to help her feelings at all. "Tell me. Tell me what you did to hurt me."

His mind had gone somewhere else. It wasn't necessarily bad, but something had definitely happened in the space between Robin punishing him and finally checking on him to see if he knew what had been done wrong. Through her silence, he had been letting her previous scoldings sink in and wash over and run through him like new blood. When he spoke, it was with the pleading undertones of a sub somewhere from his space.

"I... I thought you were using me," he said, shame clearly evident. It must have hurt her so incredibly bad if she had punished him so harshly. "Playing around with me... but you're not. You're not."

Hearing his words and the sub notes in them cut through her anger and flipped a switch in her mind. Her grip on his hair changed to something less painful, but still firm. It wasn't about pain now, but instead comforting him and making sure he was alright after her assault. She had gone too far, she had hurt her sub. That wasn't right and all she wanted was for it to be fixed.

"I'm not," she agreed gently as she let go of his hair so she could pet him instead, trying to comfort him after what she did. "You know better now, don't you? I love you and would never think to use you."

Peter hummed for a moment, a strong positive reaction to the change in temperament. He had understood correctly and he had taken the punishment and yes, he had deserved that. His body was shaking just enough that it felt cold without any relation to the actual temperature. He liked it, feeling his body reacting purely to Robin rather than something else.

"I do," he promised. "I see it. You're just having what's yours."

"Mm, normally I'd agree with that, but right now it's not about that," she said as she tugged his hair a bit as if to try to get him to move. There was no longer any reason to have him positioned the way he was now that she had done what she needed to do and gotten the point drilled into his mind and hopefully stuck there.

"You dropped yourself into subspace," Robin explained as she moved to pull Peter up into some sort of sitting position on her lap, knowing that he'd get the picture and help her out with that. "I'm going to pull out out so we can do what you want and talk instead."

Peter hummed, shifting accordingly to the motions and where he could tell she would want him. He was mostly using his hip and thigh to sit as he was still a little raw from their go about. It would be great later, but right now he could tell she didn't want all of his attention on that anymore.

"Do we have to?" he asked, equal parts legitimate question and being difficult for the sake of it.
