This was definitely not how Chris expected his time in the past to go. Despite interference not only from Leo once he returned, Cole Turner was getting in the way to an extreme degree that Chris hadn't anticipated. In his own time, Cole was long gone and taken care of by Wyatt, dead just like anyone else. Here in the past, the half-demon was still kicking and on some unknown agenda that Chris had never bothered to really investigate as long as Cole kept his distance from little Wyatt.

That was turning out to be a mistake.

Now he was in the Underworld, bound up in a way he couldn't properly move and couldn't orb out and his nerves were already beginning to fray. With the way the sisters didn't quite know whether to trust him or not and his father already out for his blood, the chances of them putting a priority on Chris's rescue were uncertain. Whatever it was Cole planned to do with the Charmed Ones' whitelighter, he couldn't imagine it was pretty.

"Hey, are you just going to stand there all day?" he taunted. Never let it be said Chris wasn't a Halliwell, whether anyone knew it or not. Sitting and taking whatever this was just wouldn't do.

It was a good move, Chris could tell, when Cole seemed to shift his attention toward the physical comforts rather than their previous topic. He hummed and burrowed into the warm blankets where he could get the most comfortable. With things evened out and settling, he was more than ready to drift off and let himself go for just a short while. When he woke later, Chris knew he would be getting right back to the grindstone of his mission. For now, he would rest.

"It's not going to be about sex the whole time, is it?" he mumbled in entertainment. He wasn't going to complain, but hell if he didn't want to wear his clothes more often than not.

It wasn't for another long while that Chris reappeared in Cole's caverns. Three weeks, give or take, and Chris had been busy in the meanwhile. His hands had been far too full to take time away and visit no matter how stressed he was or difficult the tasks he took on. There was always some other lead to follow, more important than the nudge in his brain urging him to go down below and take a break. It wasn't until the last straw fell on his back that he orbed down to the main room practically fuming at the ears for the injustice of it all. Who the hell did Leo think he was? Sure, Leo had been made into an Elder, but that didn't mean he could just toss Chris aside like yesterday's news because he didn't like him — without proof, even! Watching other witches was not what he had come back to the past to do.

Without even checking the state of the cavern or what was going on, Chris was already near to bursting and gesticulated wildly as he finally had a moment of safety to truly express how angry he was. His new charges didn't deserve any of this anger and he'd held his tongue all the way up until the day was over in their timezone and orbed straight down to let off his steam. "I cannot believe him!"
