WHAT Some people don't care enough for their belongings, even the sentient ones. Junior and Felix are gonna fix a few of those shortcomings for their new... acquisition.

It had been a while in coming and some struggle with financing, but eventually (finally), Junior and Felix had managed to "relieve" Ash of his duty at the company where he had been "employed". (Owned was more like it, and Junior tried not to think about what it meant to save one synth from his fate while leaving the rest there in continued disservice to their individuality.) The two of them owed Ash a lot, not the least of which being their current relationship status. It was a bit convoluted all told, but the fact of the matter was, once Junior understood what was happening with the business, he couldn't just leave it alone.

So, not only did they have a synthetic clone under joint possession between them but it had become rapidly apparent that Ash had no possessions to his name. Two sets of clothing. That was all he was released to them with and it definitely wasn't enough, no matter that he didn't sweat or otherwise dirty them at the same speed or in the same way as breathing humans did. Now they were at the mall, and Junior was hoping to get out of it with minimal attention. It was how he always operated in too big of an open space, much more happy to focus on the people he came with than anything else external.

"All right, where first?" he asked to the both of them. Ash's accent was foreign but there was no way of telling whether that was natural or programmed, so he wasn't going to assume he might not be familiar with the area. "I haven't actually been to this mall for a while... Has anything changed?"

The moment Junior stepped away, Felix looked away from Ash to glance around the store, see if anyone had decided to follow Junior as he went to take a call. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, his focused turned back to Ash, just in time to hear him say something that made all of his assassin instincts go on high alert, but relaxed slightly when he realized that of course Ash would notice something was off. He wasn't human, so obviously he'd notice the differences.

"There is something about him that's different and I'm not talking about his personality," Felix admitted softly, his voice a low whisper so nobody else nearby could hear. It was his job to keep Junior safe, keep him alive as ordered by his grandparents. An android who had no idea what he really was and Felix wanted to keep it that way. "Whatever you think it might be, he doesn't know about it and I don't plan on him finding out about it, if you catch my meaning here."

"He's strong," Ash confirmed. "And warm." Warmer than he ought to be, unless he was feverish, which he didn't seem to be. Ash thought it might have been a one-time thing he'd experienced when they'd had sex, but his body was built with delicate temperature sensors that could pick up Junior's raised temperature even here.

Ash's brow furrowed, and he tilted his head. "I'm not saying I'll say anything, but... Why? Why not tell him?" Why not tell anyone? Yes, there was a lot of very complicated territory surrounding androids, but didn't he have the right to know what he was? If he in fact was an android at all. Still, whatever the case was, as Ash said he'd keep mum if that's what Felix thought was best, but he didn't understand why.

Junior's whole situation was a complicated one, all things considered. Assassin family, dead parents, their status as androids hidden from the government. Felix was under strict rules to not let Junior know, but Ash wasn't Junior and Felix would try to convey why it's important not to tell him and he's pretty sure 'his grandparents will murder me and nobody will ever find my body' isn't a good enough reason.

"Because it's safer for him to not know. To start, his family's unregistered, so the government has no idea that's what he is. Plus, there's the fact that his parents might have been killed because of it. Senior's the one he got all that from." It was more complicated, what with Junior's family using their enhanced android bodies to become assassins, but Felix hoped this explanation would be enough for Ash.

Ash listened, and he nodded to show he was listening. As soon as Felix introduced the possibility that Junior's life might be in danger because of his android status, his face went blank again as he rushed to classify Junior's status as one to be protected. His eyes flicked to where Junior had wandered off, as if checking to see that he was safe.

He understood now. If being an android, or even knowing that he was an android, would put Junior at risk, then Ash would keep this secret hidden from anyone and everyone. "Who else knows?" he asked Felix, wanting to clarify just how much of the world he needed to protect this secret from.

Unfortunately for Ash's categorization and curiosity, there wouldn't be time to answer that question. Junior strolled back while replacing the earpiece on his belt loop, looking a bit concerned but not too worried or anything like that. He ran a hand through his hair to fix the bangs falling in his face and looked up with a fair amount of confusion. "You're still where I left you?" he asked.

It didn't matter too much overall. He hadn't been gone that long. Shaking his head and looking around the aisles to see where they might head down first, he explained himself, "Apparently there's raccoons or something getting into the trashes at the bakery. I'll have to pick up some locks later." That was something that could wait, though, considering the point of their trip today.

He was going to answer, tell him at least some of the people who knew of Junior's android status, but then the subject showed up and Felix changed gears from assassin back to boyfriend without missing a beat. With an amused expression on his face, he wrapped an arm around Ash's face and pulled him close while looking over at Junior. "Well, I didn't want you to get lost trying to look for us."

There was a slight narrowing of his eyes at the mention of raccoons, but it disappeared as he focused on why they were here. "We'll worry about those later. Right now, we've got a synth to make fashionable. Shirts first or pants, do you think?"

Ash stumbled slightly at the sudden arm being wrapped around him, the motion pulling him closer to Felix. Instinctively, he placed a hand on Felix's back to steady himself. This was closer than he'd ever been to Felix, and he wasn't sure if he ought to retreat... But Felix had initiated contact, hadn't he? And besides, as a dancer, he was bound to have better balance than gangly Ash.

"Um, pants? Maybe?" Ash ventures a guess. "I honestly have no idea."

Seeing them get so close and buddy-buddy, Junior wasn't necessarily suspicious. He didn't really have reason to be, not with two people he trusted and cared about; if they had secrets or their own things going on, it didn't necessarily mean he was entitled to know. Whatever the case, he nodded with Ash's guess. "Pants first, since you can mix tops more than you can mix bottoms."

Even he knew that.

It took them a fair while to find some good clothes. Ash didn't know what he preferred, which was expected, and Junior and Felix mostly bandied things back and forth between themselves until finally getting the approval from Ash himself. At the end of it all, they'd gone back to Felix's place to end the day since Junior's space was smaller and a little less private for what they were hoping to do.

Not that they were intending for anything to happen, but having a private fashion show letting Ash try it all on in a less public place where he might feel comfortable with it definitely seemed like the way to go. Setting the bags he had in the living room, Junior started to reach in and set them out in piles according to type.

"Okay, so... what first?" he asked, a mumble more like a thought he hadn't intended to vocalized.

Shopping was always something that took a long time when Felix was involved. He was the sort of person who strives for perfection whenever he can and given a new person to dress up, he had the time of his life trying to find things for Ash to wear, even if he had to confer with the other two about what to finally add what they were going to buy. He was satisfied what they ended up with and he couldn't wait to see how it all looked on Ash.

Flopping down on his couch in a relaxed sprawl, he looked over to Junior and gave a halfhearted shrug in response to his question. "I don't know. Ash, why don't you look at things and get a feel for what you want to wear?"

Ash followed the pair of them through the store obediently until he eventually left the proud new owner of a whole wardrobe. It was a bit of a blur, honestly, the whole experience, but he was glad at the end of it. Back at Felix's apartment, he picked up a shirt from the nearest pile. It was green, and he liked the soft feel of it. It reminded him of the fields near Martha's house.

He frowned, putting the shirt back down and picking up another one. A light blue one, still soft but of stiffer material, with silver buttons down the front. Then he picked up a pair of black pants, and the garish red belt he'd insisted on buying because he liked the color, no matter how much they'd argued that it clashed with his hair.

"How about these?" he asked, presenting his selections to Junior and Felix for approval.

Junior shook his head at Felix when he flopped, if only because he wasn't done yet and couldn't join him. Once everything was all sorted out and bags stuffed out of the way, he moved onto the couch and lowered himself down with just enough time for Felix to make room for him. Seeing what Ash had picked out, he hesitated while turning to share a look with Felix.

Well, there was no accounting for taste and Junior was pretty sure that was more a personality flaw than a programming one. Most computers knew how to match colors better than that. That said, he turned back to Ash and tilted his head back and forth.

"Give it a try, see how you like it," he suggested.

It took all his restraint to not comment about what Ash picked up, but he succeeding in not saying a thing, instead focusing his attention on making sure there was enough space for Junior. His boyfriend still thought of himself as a small boy instead of the tall man and while endearing, was something Felix had to compensate for so they were both comfortable.

"Go ahead and try them out. We'll reserve judgment until we see how it looks on you," Felix said in an easy tone, trying to not seem like he's already formed an opinion and that opinion being that Ash should never be allowed to dress himself.

Given his instructions, Ash set out to do just that. He placed his chosen outfit on a nearby table and set about undressing from his current clothes. He toed off his trainers and pulled out of his jumper, methodical in his methods. He wasn't trying to seduce anyone just now, just changing clothes.

It was easy to get comfortable with Felix, both of them knowing where they wanted to be and the only challenge being actually making it happen. Junior definitely was not used to his height since it had come so late in life, and returning home had only made it harder to adjust while being around such familiar and old things. He settled easily, happy to be tucked up under Felix's chin but the obvious indication of what Ash to do got him moving again. He could always get back in position later.

Getting back to his feet, he walked over and stopped Ash for a moment by placing his hands on his hips. "Hold on," he said, a bit amused without being mocking for it. "Usually part of the show is waiting to make us see the whole picture. We can make an exception this time."

That said, he shifted his hands to start removing Ash's belt, not at all bothered and only a little bit awkward with his boyfriend sitting right behind him. His shoulders were a bit more tense than usual but really, it would go away with time. There wasn't anything to be ashamed of here even if it was probably completely out of the realm of a normal relationship.

He was only getting properly comfortable right before Junior moved to go over to Ash. Despite previous responses of jealousy involving Junior and Ash, this time Felix didn't seem to bothered by what was going on. All three of them were together now in some form or another, so it wouldn't do to get jealous when he knew both of them made Junior happy and that was the important thing here.

"Well now you're doing a whole different type of show," Felix teased from the couch, not making any attempt to move from his spot on the couch. "Not that I mind at all."

Startled into inaction, Ash's arms dropped to his sides as he let Junior undo his belt. He glanced over at Felix on the couch and smiled. "Should I make more of a show of it then?" He wriggled his hips teasingly to punctuate.

In his time with his previous employer, he'd been supplied with several undressing techniques. It was a bit late for some of them, half naked as he already is, but he could still try to make up for lost time.

Junior gave a light scoff for the question, threading the belt out and lightly tossing it aside to the floor. He glanced back to Felix, relaxing that bit of tension in his shoulders when he noticed how the other seemed into it and not at all offended or weird. What had he done to deserve such an amazing best friend-slash-boyfriend? Something right, apparently.

Turning back to Ash, he raised his hands as if to keep them off, grinning. "Do you want to?" he asked. No one here was going to complain, but... "This is your show, you get to make the rules."

Felix let out a laugh, clearly amused by Ash's actions. He couldn't help but think the synth was cute, even when he was next to the person who Felix thought was the cutest in the world. Sitting up and leaning forward to rest his arms on his legs, he looked at both Junior and Ash.

"It's up to you, but we won't mind no matter what you decide." Which was true. They were getting a show no matter what and Felix didn't mind what kind it was and he was pretty sure Junior felt the same way about it.

In that case, Ash decided to repay them for their generosity by giving them the sort of show he knew people liked. He placed his hands on Junior's shoulders and pushed him back towards the couch, gently guiding him to sit. "I can do this much myself."

Then he took his place in front of them, swinging his hips to the beat of an imaginary song as he slowly unbuttoned his fly and drew down the zip. He hooked his thumbs under the hem, drawing it down inch by inch, turning to wiggle his arse playfully. All in all, it's not the sexiest striptease ever given, but he can only work with what he has. And it's fun.

Allowing himself to be led, Junior sat down next to Felix with his new position, and wrapped an arm around his side to pull him close and lean against him. That Ash was taking the initiative was great and a treat, and the fact that he was getting playful and more comfortable was even better. He grinned when the synth started his show even when it was already halfway done. Fun was the word to use here because for all that Ash may have been going for somewhat sexy, he was really just coming off as more endearing than anything.

"Too bad we don't have actual music," he said, both as a tease and possibly a real lament. What? No one could tell him that wouldn't make it better. He shifted to nudge Felix and added, "Maybe you could pick up some tips from him."

"I could fix that," Felix teased right on back as he made himself comfortable next to Junior. He didn't feel like moving to make music happen and was only planning on doing so if expressly asked, being the kind of person who only do things if he really needed to, even for his boyfriend.

He looked almost insulted at Junior's comment and pushed him away playfully and turned his attention to Ash, wanting to give him the attention he deserved. "Hush, big guy, I don't need any tips where it matters. This is supposed to be fun, remember?"

"Shall I sing?" Ash offered, turning round to face them again. "I may not be any good." Not that he was good at this either, but he was doing it anyway. Why? Because he wanted to? To please Junior and Felix. His friends. His saviours. The only people to ever make him feel that feeling that the technician back at the company had written off as a blip in his system, even though he knew it was more than that.

He continued his undressing, sliding his pants down his thighs and pulling one leg out at a time. That taken care of, he reached for the new pair of pants, and began doing his dance in reverse.

Junior knew well of Felix's lazy proclivities when it came to his resting state and wasn't going to make him move. Besides, he was comfortable and leaned right back in after being shoved away for his remark. He pressed his nose to Felix's head for a moment and then got himself curled up and comfortable once more. Now that they were probably cozy together, he also turned his attention back to Ash.

"I'm sure Ash could make it fun," he said as a last shot before really settling down. Despite the silliness of it all, Junior couldn't stop smiling while he watched, seeing Ash undressing and redressing like that, mind helpfully supplying what his underwear still hid and okay, maybe the show was more of a tease than he'd anticipated. Very lightly clearing his throat, he asked, "You have any good songs for this?"

The only response he gave Junior was a soft snort of amusement. He wasn't going to even dignify that with a proper response because he didn't want to encourage that sort of ridiculousness in Junior. Instead, he was going to make himself comfortable, eyes glued to the synth in front of him. Unlike Junior, Felix didn't have prior experience with Ash in an unclothed state, so he didn't have any thoughts as to what lay under his clothes. That was something to care about later since Felix was more interested in what he was wearing at the moment.

"Being good or bad doesn't matter as long as you're having fun doing it," Felix said with a smile as he leaned against Junior. That was definitely true since he has experienced Junior dance and that's...not something that should be seen in public and yet Felix didn't stop him from doing so. "We'll enjoy it no matter what and I'm definitely speaking from experience here."

Ash decided to take Felix's words to heart, as it were, and started humming something quietly. "What you doing on your back, aah... what you doing on your back, aah." With each line he posed, grabbing the shirt and sliding it on as well. "You should be dancing, yeah!" When it came time for the belt, he shimmied with it before playfully whipping it out towards the two on the couch. Only once it came time to thread it through the belt loops on the pants did his little performance falter.

"Not so easy to dance for this bit..." he admitted, laughing.
