There was definitely a change in Rush when the topic went back to the case and no longer focusing on himself. It was obvious that he did enjoy his work and Rush pulled out his notepad to flip it open to an older entry that he hadn't written today. "I can see about finding any family friends who could help enlighten us. You can follow your own leads to see if you can get anywhere from another angle."

He closed his eyes and sighed as he thought back to when he was seeing through the demon's eyes. It was obvious that he wasn't using his magic, but closing his eyes helped block out everything else so he could focus on his memories better. "The book, obviously.
