It was with extreme reluctance that Peter found clarity returning to him. At first, he didn't even look at Robin until she continued with her commanding tone and presence and then he slowly felt the calm slip into an emotional backburner while his thoughts started to become more coherent and less fantastic as time went on.

This had the unfortunate sideeffect of reminding him where exactly they were and the position they were in, and heat quickly spread up his neck and into his cheeks. "R-R-Robin," he said, timid and suddenly out of his depth while his emotions, subdued and freer than he could ever remember them being, tried to fit back somewhere regular.
