He doubted it would change even if he wasn't the fire Aspect since it appeared that much a part of him than the Aspect seemed to be. "Would you prefer if I said you had a spark in you?"

Even before he had met Shannon and fallen in love with him, Eli hadn't been one to be in a relationship and while his emotions tended to flit between whatever suited his fancy, his true feelings were far more stable and tended to be harder to change.
