From where Eli's hand was, he could feel Shannon's chest tense up while he grunted into the kiss and tried not to make more sound. His hand tightened around Eli's waist as he held back his reaction. It was a pretty close thing, but he had begun to expect it and wanted to see how far Eli was willing to go in public under the relatively thin veil of his power.
