Shannon gave a small grin, shifting on the bed so that he could clasp a hand around the one on his arm. He squeezed lightly, then tilted his head to take in what he could about Eli. There wasn't much, just the sound of his voice and the rhythm of his breaths. Not a whole lot to go off of, but he was pretty good at reading Eli by now.

"A lot," he said with some unintended levity. He really did feel pretty good. "Little sore, but I think that comes with dating you." It was a joke, really, since he knew what he had been getting into with Eli's electric powers. Part of him wondered what he would have been able to give in return if he could access his own hidden magic, but that came at too great a cost to truly consider. He squeezed at Eli's hand one more time. "How about you?"
