Shannon was out soon after, sighing quietly while beginning to shift into the position where he would stay for as long as he would sleep. It was a deep sleep once he fell into it, and there was nary even a twitch when Eli left. He had been there to see Shannon to slumber, and that was more than enough to make sure his rest would be peaceful.

Matheus was more or less where he had been left. The remains of the burned notebook lay on the floor where it had been dropped, covered with a dish towel and the spot around it was noticeably wet. He wasn't about to leave something burning in the middle of the living room, especially not when it could set off the smoke detector and ruin things even worse. There was, however, one large difference from when Eli had last stopped by the living room: Lacey was there, sitting between Matheus' legs while he showered her with affection to get rid of his nervous energy. There was really only one way this could go after he'd barged in on a D/s scene between Shannon and Eli: badly.
