It was definitely not on his mind to get the specifics right now. What mattered was that Eli was both here and there at the same time, attention focused on him in two different ways. One was theoretically impossible while the other was beyond his reach, and both of them warmed him in a way that his abnormal temperature couldn't begin to touch. His hand flexed, turning as if to grasp the sensation that rested there while he dipped his head into the hand at his face. He wasn't supposed to move, but how could he not when Eli was right there?

"Please," he said. "Keep doing this." They had all the time they could want, and Eli would never hide things from him. He could ask later. Right now, he simply wanted the moment to last, that feeling of care from all angles keeping him protected and safe. Nothing could touch him as long as Eli had this kind of power.
