"Patience isn't really..." Shannon trailed off, sucking in a sharp breath at the feel of Eli's hands. Only it wasn't, because Shannon was sure Eli was still sitting in front of him, hands to himself and drawing. He could hear the pencil scratches and nothing had moved. But there was still the undeniable sense that Eli was right there, holding him and Shannon dipped his head into the phantom hands while trying to process what was happening.
