Shannon tilted his head to listen to and follow Eli's movement, then sat himself on the foot of the bed nearby. He wasn't sure exactly how Eli wanted to do this, but if he wasn't in Dom mode yet, then Shannon wasn't about to try fitting into sub mode either. He was working off Eli's lead in that department. That was how this game worked.
