As soon as he felt Shannon starting to calm and his response, Eli kissed him on his jaw to give him one last bit of comfort before they moved on. Adjusting his arms to make sure he doesn't drop him, Eli started to walk around the place, not really going one place or another, doing so to make Shannon lose his sense of direction. He wants to force Shannon to lose every bit of control so he can truly get him to submit for him. All during the walk, he is intensely focused on Shannon and waiting for the right response. He doesn't want to start too early or wait too long as either could be potentially disastrous.
