Casey stretched out taller while Gabriel ran his hand along their back, as if giving him more room to feel out. His warm hands, wet and gentle, felt great and the touch itself was a welcome caress. They made a quiet hum, then gave Gabriel an indulgent smile. "If a humanoid has scales, then there's something wrong there," they said with humor rather than any sort of worry. They understood what he was saying; it was still a funny mental image for a human.

For the kiss, Casey pressed into it once Gabriel accepted, tilting their head every now and then to avoid water making things more difficult than it had to be. It was unhurried but firm, pressing and exploring and curious. This was a dragon before them in a human body and Casey found themselves wondering if it was possible to tell, as if the dragon underneath would make the experience different now that they knew.
