That humming noise was relaxing in and of itself. Almost like purring, but something more conscious and perfect. They had the entire day in front of them, yet Casey just wanted to stay right here in bed with Gabriel cuddled up against them. It was still a huge mental shift, something that hadn't completely sunken in, but Casey knew that it would only take time for this to become the normal state of affairs and they didn't particularly mind.
