At being licked, Casey pouted mostly for show. It was still weird, but getting more and more normal by the second. Obviously Gabriel wasn't put out by this at all and even with a completely different body Casey could tell it was Gabriel underneath. Something about all that made it hard to even try and keep some kind of mental distance between Gabriel-the-human and Gabriel-the-dragon, not that they actually wanted that. Everything was just coming together so quickly, almost lending credence to the idea that maybe Casey really was a dragonaught.

"Not sure which one would be better," Casey said slowly. Either one could be a compliment or an insult both if Gabriel was copping up to it. "You've obviously got some faith in your history and legends, but on the other hand... you were just kind of at a party for no reason, weren't you?"
