It was kind of hard to be serious when a cuddly furnace was leaned up against them and cuddling for being petted. Even if it was Gabriel, a dragon who should have all rights been a fierce thing, it was enough to help melt their heart and calm down just a tad. The motion itself was soothing, too, and they kept doing it while following the ethereal trails of thought buzzing about their head.
