Rumors ran more rampant than actual knowledge; schools often taught less documented fact and more historical stories and mythology about the draconic races much to the interest of most students. Romanticizing them for being egotistical flying fire-breathing death creatures was surprisingly common, and maybe more accurate than was precedented.
