let's recreate the big bang [ psl ]
WHO Brian (
interradical) and Rowan (
antipodal)
WHAT Just two guys sharing time with each other. Nothing weird at all, no alien oddness whatsoever.
WHEN :iiam:
WHERE Brian's place.
WHY blame wankgate for something good for once.
Another day, another dollar, another evening spent at home. It was a familiar routine, recently being readjusted to the introduction of someone else in his life. That was new. More than new. It was exhilarating, even if Brian had no idea how it had happened. Whirlwind romances weren't his thing, but maybe he had never been looking in the right places. Rowan wasn't his perfect match or the kind of guy he dreamed about as a teen, but there was an undeniable attraction both in and out of the sheets. They just fit.
He'd only just returned home, but Rowan was already there. They'd given each other keys a while ago, just half a foot shy of actually moving in together, and Brian couldn't reasonably say he minded. Kept to himself pretty well, had a small circle of friends and a good reputation at work, but it was lonely at home more often than not. He was on the couch and removing his shoes when the smell hit him, revitalizing a tired mind ready to shut off for the night.
"Is that dinner already on the stove?" he called.
