His reluctance to be soothed didn't seem to bother Cole and he moved to kiss his neck gently as he went back to rubbing his chin. It had been three weeks since he had last seen Chris and he wasn't going to allow his grumpiness to get in the way of him saying hello and giving him the affection he deserved since it was made very clear to him that nobody else would.

"I think he's jealous of you," Cole said evenly in between neck kisses. From what he could see as an outsider who knew how the family worked, that's all he could think it could be. "Outside of a couple instances, Leo's been the sister's whitelighter since they came into their magic. Then you show up, he becomes an Elder, and then you take his place as the whitelighter of the Charmed Ones. He's stuck away from his wife, son, and charges for a greater role of responsibility. Doesn't excuse him for being an ass though."
