Cole kissed him back, just as gentle but nowhere even near unsure. He made a soft noise of approval and encouragement, urging Chris on to accept the affection and the fact that it was Cole giving it to him. It was a thrill for Cole to see that he didn't even need to order Chris now to take his affection and only needing to dangle it on a thread for Chris to grab. He was getting closer to fully having Chris and it was wonderful.

"Yes," he replied, soft and gentle and loving. Cole moved to pull him into a hug and petted his hair, resting his forehead against Chris's and closing his eyes. This was beautiful, it was amazing. He could see just how close he was to falling and all he needed to give him was a little push to make him topple. "Everything's being made right, Chris. You can feel it in your heart, in your mind, that what I'm saying is how things should be. You're mine, Chris, and all you've wanted is to come back to me because I'll take care of you. You know I'm the only one that's ever wanted you even after your own father did nothing for you."
