Having Cole move to practically sitting in his lap elicited a surprised sound from Chris. He jerked back against the binding automatically, his attention-desperate body nonetheless reacting to the unexpected proximity. Chris couldn't help but stare at Cole for how close they were, feeling the slight brush of Cole's breath. Chest to chest, it was odd to realize they were more or less the same size despite the obvious advantage of muscle Cole had on him. "Anywhere," he said in a haze. It was a word he hardly realized he'd spoken, body alight with craving need for more attention, as much affection as he could take.
All of the physical distraction was serving excellently to disarm Chris when it came to more important matters. He struggled, head shifting and tilting away in a forceful move to hold himself back. He was falling deeper, to the point where he was starting to lose sight of what reactions were his own and what he noticed were uncharacteristic. It was all melding together. "I know," he murmured. He did. Why was he trying to hide this when there was no way it would get back to the sisters or Leo? "I know. He's... Leo's my father, so I still need him around."
