Order after order, his mind continued to slip away with each chip against his defenses. Retaining any sense of what was good or where he was only got more difficult and Chris felt himself give a soft sigh for how Cole wasn't shying away. He screwed up his face, tried to pull together something, but considering what else they were talking about he couldn't muster enough of a fight against something relatively less meaningful. Swallowing, he asked quietly, "Could you? Please, don't stop."
His focus had shifted. For as off-putting and welcome the physical affection was, there was still the hotly boiling anger against Leo and some kind of responsibility managing to hold him back. His breathing turned shallow as he twisted his words just enough, explaining himself to Cole without outing himself as well. It sat heavy in his gut to hide something but there was still enough presence of mind to him that Chris knew his biggest secret was a step too far. "I still need him," he said. "For future reasons. Can't get rid of him yet, you know?"
