You crave the affection I'm giving to you willingly and you want more so badly that'd you put away your pride and ask for it," he said, his voice not changing from a gentle tone as he kept rubbing under his chin, smiling at how he was starting to rest on his hand. Despite his protests, Cole could see that the touch and his words were sinking into Chris's mind and fighting him with kindness and affection was a much easier battle than being violent.

It was obvious that Chris got angry at Leo as he wished, but Cole was genuinely surprised that he was still holding back. There was more that Chris was hiding from him and he'd have to dig more to find out what and twist things into his favor. "Why?"
