Things weren't exactly settled, but the brief conversation did help in getting Chris more comfortable with whatever was going on. There was more logic to it, even if the logic didn't fit inside of his head. He would need time to figure it out... and, well, if he was going to have anything in the upcoming weeks, it was time. The purring helped a lot, a foreign but comforting action. It might have been weird to anyone else, but when it was his summon purring just for him, Chris felt extremely lucky.

In lieu of being able to purr back, Chris gave a small hum of contentment for the hand threading through his hair. "Like I said, you would've known. I guess summons just don't have the same forewarning that summoners do," he said in a thoughtful tone. "If only I could have found you sooner."
