It was going to take far more than this to stop the confusion and hopefully they'll get the chance to straighten things out so that it stops being so confusing for the two of them. Cole grinned at the fact that Chris seemed pleased by his purring and made him keep going, moving his head up to rest on Chris's shoulder while he closed his eyes and kept purring. Even if everything else was confusing, this at least made sense to Cole.
