There was something going on with the miscommunication between them and Chris was reluctant to let it drop. However, there were more important things happening and Chris held onto Cole firmly and let himself rest against him. He was more tired than he was willing to let on, the finalization of their connection met with the stress of the day along with the fact that he was now acting as a medium between his summon's spiritual energy and the world around him... it was exhausting, and he knew at least that much was normal.
