For a moment, Cole looked into Chris's eyes and listened to what he was saying. There was something not right about all of this and from what he could get from their link, Chris firmly believed every single word he was saying. Cole wasn't going to force the issue and instead of immediately responding, he went back into his hug and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before he nuzzled his neck and sighed lightly against the smooth skin. It was a nice comfort to have physical contact after being separated.

"If you don't care, then it doesn't matter. All that matters is that I'm your summon now," Cole responded. The demon topic could be left for another time when they weren't reeling over being together for the first time. Right now, all Cole wanted to do was finish what had been interrupted earlier, his attempts to show off for his summoner and know for sure if he was truly acceptable to Chris.
