Seeing that his kiss left Chris in a daze as they walked made Cole smile. He wasn't sure how the relationship between summoners and summons worked, but considering Chris wasn't telling him that this was wrong, then he'd keep going this way and figure how exactly this was supposed to work between them. Cole didn't want to do wrong by his summoner, not with how much it had hurt seeing Chris leave him behind earlier that day.
"I forgive you," Cole said as he pulled Chris into a hug, face pressed against his neck and breathing in the scent of his summoner as he changed back into his summon form. There was nothing to forgive Chris for, but he said it anyway, sending overflowing positive emotions through the link. One hand reached down to slide under Chris's shirt and stroke the sigil gently, having not had the chance to really touch it beforehand. "We didn't have the chance to be properly introduced earlier. Why don't we fix that?"
