At the moment, all Cole wanted to do was stay there and make up for lost time. They had years of being together and bonding to catch up on and Cole was definitely willing to start on that now. Of course, he wouldn't have the chance to do that now. When Leo shouted, Cole held onto Chris protectively and he turned his head towards Leo, looking close to furious that he was interfering in their moment like that.

"Stay away from him, paladin," he snarled angrily at Leo, the appearance of his summon form not helping his cause. Cole wasn't going to let Leo take away from summoner when he had just found him. "He's my summoner and you have no right to get between us."
