Nobody can ever say that Doom didn't warn her multiple times. When she went and grabbed his mask, he reached up with his electrified hand and grabbed hers, giving her a zap hopefully strong enough to get her to let go. He was very sensitive when it came to his face, especially after it had been damaged in the accident, and his mask was an extension of that. "Don't you dare touch my mask."

That spurred him on to getting back to his Doombots quicker and when he got there, all of them turned his attention to him. As he moved past them and to the helicopter he had waiting, they parted for him so he wouldn't have to slow down. "Send up the flare and prepare for my escape," he ordered loudly so all of the Doombots in the area could hear. Then he turned his attention back to the girl, zapping her again with his free hand. "I have a surprise for you."
