Even if her reaction was to lash out, it wouldn't be a problem for Doom. As it was, he was somewhat okay with keeping her close and letting her cling. If that's what she needed, then he'll let her have it at least for now. Doom did need her alive and stable so she could get them back and at this point, he'd do whatever he could to make sure she was mentally stable enough to continue on.

"Yes you can and you will get us out of here," he said firmly, not planning on being gentle with her on this. "We're not going to stay here for long. I won't allow it."
