"Just like everyone else," Chris quipped. Instability aside, he seemed to have a good enough head on his shoulders and the fact that he didn't seem to find Chris a threat or something getting in his way of his apparently-common demon hunting excursions was definitely a plus. Running into him again wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Now if only he could figure out where he had seen this guy before...

"Oh, sure, I get that." After all, it was what Chris had been doing for roughly the same amount of time himself. Keeping a low profile and just doing what came naturally in the meantime. He had caused too much of a ruckus back home to be a complete unknown but at least it was easier to avoid casual acquaintances on the other side of the country, even if the magical ones were a bit harder to shake.
