Chris crossed his arms and studied Rush. It wasn't very impassive, but it was hard to get a read on him beyond annoyed, so at least there was that. There were a lot of unanswered (and unasked) questions floating around in what Rush wasn't saying, but there wasn't very much that Chris could do to force them out without treading some morally dubious ground. At least Rush was being forthright about what he had done, and it was making a lot of sense to Chris.

"Psychooptics," he said. "I've met some people who can do that. Not... recently, but I have. It's a pretty rare power." Chris reached out and pointed, fingers mere inches from poking Rush in the chest. "So don't go trying to pin that one on me. You obviously knew who I was, but kept your own powers a secret and expect me to cater to you, anyway? Hell no."
