Chris watched Rush from the corner of his eye and smirked to himself. It looked like they had the same idea, but Rush was a bit more old-fashioned in figuring it out. Nothing wrong with it, old-fashioned was a part of every witch no matter how modern they were, but sometimes you just had to keep up with the times. Especially when your job was to figure out people who had done the same.
"I'm already on it," he said, waving his phone to make sure Rush saw. "That Wallace kid? He put his number in my contacts, so I'm gonna make him text me any pictures the victim had of the room on her phone. We'll piece it together from there and, if we're lucky, see what the missing book is."
