It was like being stuck in a holding pattern the first few days and Rush had been itching to get on a case so that he didn't have to deal with Chris. When they actually got a case, it was with much relief that Rush took it and nearly left Chris behind. He was almost disappointed that Chris was able to keep up enough to come along.

While Chris was reading the file, Rush was already trying to figure out where the pieces of the case fell together in his head. This was always much easier with Gloria there to help him figure out how people other than him worked. He was so caught up in the file and driving that he nearly missed what Chris said, but thankfully he didn't and instead glanced over towards him. "Unexplained phenomena.
