It was perfect. Peter sighed happily, settling down into the position Robin made for herself, and decided to wrap his arms around her. With the way things were now, he could stay there indefinitely and just ride the waves of this afternoon going in a horribly, somehow pleasant direction. He would owe Robin a lot for the sort of peace she was bringing him, but right now he wasn't going to dwell on that.

Right now, he was just going to hold her close and feel the rhythm of her breath and that amazing warmth against his neck. How had he never known he could feel this amazing, be this close to someone before? Peter was going to keep this feeling as dearly as possible for when it was over; he didn't want to forget any of it.
