"Just a little light conversation," Shannon quipped with some bemusement. It was true that there were a lot of factors out there that could potentially help with the damage that their world was too backwards to think of healing right now, but the idea of intentionally going out there searching for something like that... Shannon was never quite going to get over the protectiveness he felt when Eli left for somewhere that he couldn't follow.
