As much as Michelle didn't want to compare Shannon to a god, Shannon did not want to be compared to a devil. Most of the other Aspects were pretty good about it, but with the knowledge of hindsight he could see where tainted perceptions sometimes slipped through. It wasn't much different from being judged for his blindness; both were things he couldn't help and easily overcame anyway. It was just another one of those things.

"That would be way too sticky," said Shannon with a chuckle. The idea of it wasn't too bad, but the aftermath sounded decidedly less fun to suck his interest right out. "I like that second idea more. Why don't we go let Eli know you're here, anyway?"
