There was some laughter from the other teachers and the headmaster at what Shannon said. It wasn't what they were really laughing at, but the mental image was amusing nonetheless. They all looked at each other to see who was going to explain why they were waiting for him, but they all simmered down when the headmaster stood up from his seat and raised a hand to silence them before sitting back down, feet up on the table as he looked over at Shannon.

"Not yet, but the day's still young," he responded with no small amount of amusement. "We were wanting to hear about the fight in your class. I'd say that's a record, but then I'd be lying and I'm sure that this would make you feel better about the whole thing."
