Once the hand was no longer tight against his throat, he let go and took a moment to get his breath back. The knife didn't really bother him and he tilted his head back against the wall, looking far more relaxed than he had any right to. He knew his brother didn't remember him and if he said the wrong thing, that knife was definitely going to slice his throat open, but death wasn't all that frightening to a man who couldn't die no matter how hard he tried.
"I didn't mean to catch you off guard like that," he started, looking straight at Charon and never looking away.
