Even after Jacob snapped out of it, Abel was still worried and it was clear from the expression on his face. If he thought Abel was bad with physical contact before, he's worse now. He's not going in for hugs like he was previously, instead doing lots of smaller touches like a hand on his shoulder and fingers reaching to brush across his neck where his clock lay, almost as if he was checking how much was left.
